now days you can do a analyse of metals and all what its in that blade, so where that metals have come its it from eu or what part of america, but by looking a rust layers its been made 1974
It does not look like a hanger a hunting sword or anything a pirate would possess even a crude machete My guess it is possibly civil war but I doubt that it just looks like a d guard Bowie knife
Hi, thanks for the restoration video. During the early steps when soaking it in vinegar, would it have a better effect if there was some thing supports under the sword instead of it being against the floor and plastic wrapping?
Hey! A fun fact! What you call restoration is actually a modification as you're removing material and altering the structure of the item. For a TH-cam video it's completely fine but a museum would never ever accept a modification like that of an artifact. Your video was awesome by the way, I love the restorations you do!
how some one can say its a sword of carpian pirate how drung he was telling that lie, if thats would be a true that price would be a 50k to 200k dollars and its a fact its would not been resto by some youtuber its would be in museo im just saying

Cookie of the Caribbean ...
Pirate , Alchemist , Mouser , TH-camr extraordinaire !
Just out of curiosity - since the people alive in 75BC didn't call it that, how did they name the years?
Why did I have the same thought lol
By famous events at that time or counting years from them. A historian told me.
@@UranijaZeus makes sense. In The Bible they referred to the number of years a king had reigned
