    Beautiful....you truly turned my head with the paint detail. I am currently working on this build. I suffer from lack of confidence in pre painting my parts, but you show that pre painted parts really stand out when you bring them together. I was leaning toward a read exterior, but now I'm not so sure because the blue is eye catching. Again top notch work..thanks for the tips!

      Thanks for the kind words. It is appreciated. I find that painting your solid colors first and then adding detail colors as you go makes the assembly process a lot easier. If you paint all of it before even starting assembly then when it comes time to asseble, it can be done in a few hours pretty easily. I have been trying to stay away from red cars lately as it seems to me that red is used so often but some cars just deserve red. The miata does look amazing in red, no question there. Good luck with your build. I am sure as you do more work, the confidance will come with it. Take a look at some of my older videos. ho boy are they bad. haha.

    Nice job. I have just bought this kit , I wanted a Lotus Elan kit but they don't seem to be available. The Mazda is nearly the same. Thanks for the video

    Nice job. Do you light sand between mist, light and wet coats?

    • @ScaleAutoGarage
      @ScaleAutoGarage  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't recall if I did on this one or not. I will give a quick sand between coats if I find debris or dust or anything in the paint after drying. I give a good inspection after primer, and another good inspection after the base color. If I find anything that needs to be taken care of, I will usually use a Tamiya 3000 grit sponge to flaten it out. If no debris then I don't give it a sand. Hope that helps.

    Hi. Which kind of dust do you apply inside the car? Looks like Iron or carbón Dustin. Thank you. Good job

      Awesome, hope it is helpful. I use Embossing powder but there are many places you can buy flocking for carpets as well. Good luck with your building.

    Do you need glue at all? Might be a silly question but i want to get started with this stuff. Thanks

    • @ScaleAutoGarage
      @ScaleAutoGarage  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Glue is necessary for this kit but there are models that don’t require glue. Generally they will say snap-tight on the box somewhere to indicate they don’t need glue. For this kit I would have used model glue, specific for plastic, crazy glue for specific parts like metal or chrome and white glue for parts that are clear.

      I use embosing powder for carpet but you can use flocking material as well.

    hi, where do you get the seat belt?

    • @ScaleAutoGarage
      @ScaleAutoGarage  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The seat belt material is ribbon I bought on Amazon and the photo etch buckles I got from model round up in the US.
