14:05 That one person is me! I have one more undergrad semester in computer science and want to go get a masters degree to give myself more of an edge for entry level jobs and more time to build experience before being in the workforce. I am getting a math minor and data science seems good but I am trying to learn more about it even though really I should've been on this a couple months ago. Super nerve racking process. I saw the tennis example (I love tennis) and was like it's a sign lol
Love this video, I feel like we are taught all of the maths and theory in school but the thing that I’ve found that’s just as important is presenting the data to the business area and showing how the integration of this new model will benefit the business. This is something that isn’t taught at school which made me realize that we aren’t just programmers building ML models with tabular data given to us. But I wouldn’t trade this career for anything, we are the bridge between tech and business and being able to code and present is a great mixture and gives you exposure to both sides!
Thank you for your contents, Nash. I will like to see the highlights of the book, Think like a Data Scientist. Secondly, you did mention about giving a recap of all you learnt in your DS & AI degree based on interest. I am interested, please!
Hey!! I've been watching your vids for some 4months now i think😅, im aged 17 from Africa, Zambia and Ive learn't Data Science and Machine Learning though i wouldnt say im a pro ive just learnt the basic parts about it and ive done some small projects. Before I get into the data commercial world. What would you recommend me to be doing as of now, i dont want to rush any process i just want to follow steps similar to yours 😅😅
You've got it mate! Just remember when you watch their videos and my videos, take action on what is said. Do not get caught in the loop of just watching endless videos
@@datanash8200 Yes sir! I actually prefer learning with projects, all those plenty tutes kinda gets me stuck. Thanks again, I really needed a proper roadmap.

Just listened to you today, I am so amazed with the content of your videos. I want to be a data scientist . I don't have any background but ever willing to become a data scientist. Guide me.
Thanks for this, Im so excited I start my data science degree in 6 weeks, but im rubbish at maths tbh, but im gonna wing it and learn whatever I gotta learn on the go lol I got no choice, its what I wanna do, guess I better get comfortable with maths. But im already a decent python developer, nothing big but I can code.
Hey man, been following your channel for a while and love your progress, not just in terms of data science, but also in terms of structuring your videos, your writing as well as your thumbnails! I just noticed that the lightning in your videos could be improved a bit. Hope this helps and looking forward to seeing more videos! :)
Hey Phil, thanks so much, I've been working hard on the scripting/structure so that's great feedback. And definitely trying to find a way to brighten the videos because my current set up is still a bit dim

Hey man. It’s great to see your contents! I’m also an international in UK and I’d love to know how you land a DS role in the UK while being a student? Currently, I’m only looking for DA.
Does it woth to be data scientist? Next year I will get my degree in machine learning from a college in Montreal. Help me please figure out the pros and cons.
Hi mate, love your videos. random question, all good if you don't know the answer. i am from the US, applying to masters programs in data science in both the US and UK right now (conversion programs only as I want to move abroad and come from non stem background). In the US, with a general data science masters you can work in healthcare doing data science, but I was wondering if that is the same in the UK for jobs, and if people from your master's program went in to healthcare data science after graduating. I am open to data science in other fields, but I just was wondering if a general data science and AI masters in the UK would help me also get a job in health data science, or do those jobs require a specialized health data science masters degree. Because currently the health data science degree i've seen require an existing background in data science. Once again, appreciate your videos, i know this is a very random question.
