Just bought one bored out to 40 over and small cams. He had it running then let it sit for 4 months and now just doesn't start what should I dig into first

I noticed your gas gauge was on empty .does it get better than 10 mpg it's all mine gets and it's all stock except I put hei on it starts great every time since I switch it 87 d 150 got rid of all the leanburn too.takes it 2 minutes to warm up but then it's set .
What heads are you running, seen in the description it says 56cc fast burn but not sure where they would have came from, didnt know dodge had a head with that small of combustion chambers, I'd love to get more info on them and maybe find a set for my 318 I'm building
W or X (dont remember exactly) heads are racing heads known for the 56 cc chamber but with 1991 roller heads (pre-magnum(1992)) have 62-64cc heads and KB 5cc dish piston you can achive same CR
Sounds like my uncle's dodge but he has a 440-4 in a 70. Just love that old dodge starter they don't make them like that any more.
What is it that you like about the old starters?

Been awhile . I dont think it worked . Think i got 16 mpg
