Remember when I said that Sonic CD would fit so well with this style? Yeah, you're definitely proving me right 😂😂 Yet another great cover. Keep it up! (Wanye, now that you have had the chance to listen more to Sonic CD's soundtrack, what do you think of it?)
@@Wanye Oh, also, here's just an album recommendation, since you liked Sonic CD's soundtrack. There's an album called "Sonic The Hedgehog - Remix" from 1994. A lot of people from the Sonic community don't even know this album exist, since it was only released in Japan. It was officially made by SEGA and the original composers from Sonic CD. All of its tracks are remixes from themes in the game (and some that aren't). If you liked Sonic CD, then definitely consider giving it a listen :)
you know those things that you never imagined, but when you saw it, you realized that you really needed it? this is incredible, capturing the essence of masayoshi perfectly, thank you so much my friend when I go to the beach again (I haven't been for many years) I will listen to these songs!
Listening to your palm tree panic remix made me think of other sonic cd music and I was just thinkimg about how good quartz quadrent was before I found this. Good timing!
I love how much does it sound like, nice job as usual ^^ !! ( And sorry maybe I should have told you which music I wanted to requested instead of just asking like this ..) Keep going, your compositions are awesome !
These are phenomenal! I would love to hear some in the T-Wave era takanaka format though, the early era takanaka guitar is great but T-Wave gives a more whimsical feel to me.
In light of discovering your Takanaka-styled Sonic covers, I humbly request Takanaka-styled covers for the following Freedom Planet 2 songs: - Ancestral Forge - Avian Museum - Dragon Valley - Lightning Tower - Phoenix Highway - Shenlin Park - Sky Bridge - Tidal Gate - Tiger Falls - Zao Land I know I'm requesting a lot here, but I'd be eternally grateful if you did a cover for at least ONE of the songs I've listed! I feel that Tidal Gate would be especially interesting as a Takanaka-styled cover, tbh.
hi there! I'm a fan of takanaka versions of video game songs, and I'm interested in knowing how you make the drums, with midi? I would be grateful to know what you do since I would love to do jazz fusion but the drums make it difficult for me, greetings from Chile🇨🇱!
Dude, you continue to be a simply unbelievable talent. I am gonna tell so many people I know about you and your work. Can I ask what software you primarily use to throw these together?
thank you so much! i use ableton to make my covers, but i dont think you need ableton specifically for it. i think the most important part for me is guitar rig, which has a great free version!

These mixes are absolutely phenomenal and i'm really getting down with your original songs as well! is it ok to use your mixes and songs in streams or other videos? (full credit given obviously!)
If you don't mind me asking, would you prefer to be more known? Is that an ambition you'd be working towards, or is it largely just a hobby? Cause truthfully, the production level (and guitar skill) are so high, I feel that all it would take is to advertise to the right crowd and *boom*, y'know?
Thank you!! And yeah I've been trying to grow the channel and it's been going pretty well lately. I think the thing I should probably still try to do is shorts.
You should be able to find it by looking up quartz quadrant, I did scale it up in my photo editing software using a mode that keeps the pixels the same relative size!

Also, who knew that a desolate industrial wasteland could be so goddamn funky? Makes me wonder what Palmtree Panic Bad Future would've sounded like...
The Sonic CD soundtrack is amazing!!
@@Wanye Glad you liked It! It really is something special...
Now, if I may be so bold, and a little bit selfish, I'd request Tidal Tempest next
I'll see what I can do!

Hearing the themes for the more natural zones of CD is fun, but it would be really fun to see you try something like Stardust Speedway Bad Future.
Honest to god, the greatest ten minutes of anything I’ve ever heard, best set of remixes ever.

I sampled them from specific takanaka songs that have sections that are just drums and then chop them up to fit the arrangement!

when are you doing the inverse bro
i know there's some channels that do soundfont stuff already, but if no one ends up recreating takanaka's stuff i'll give it a shot!

all the guitar parts except for the twelve string in good future are real!
Lol.
Also, US Quartz Quadrant Bad Future > Japan.
