"SEGA-A-A!" - company's name appeared on the screen. Then, on the screen appeared a picture of Green Hill Zone with the game's logo. Blue hedgehog waved at you with his finger, smiling. Man, you haven't heard this music in a while... You pressed the "start" button, and the monitor went black. Very soon the gameplay started. Familiar Green Hills, act 1, but something is wrong. It's nighttime in the game aswell, music were slowed. You tried to press the buttons to make Sonic moved, but his movements were slow and clumsy. There wasn't any robots, only Sonic under the starry sky. As soon as you reached the middle of the map, blue blur suddenly stopped moving. He broke the fourth wall, staring at you with a sleepy, annoyed look. You couldn't make him move again, no matter how hard you tried. Sonic was just gazing at you, unhappy. -What are you looking at? -you asked, realising how stupid it must be. Hedgehog began to stamp with one foot, as he did in his idle animation. -Did I made something wrong? Sonic is now pointing at the moon in the sky, like he was able to hear your questions and answer them. -Yeah, I know, it's midnight. Are you so angry because of this? He nodded. -What do you want, then? -You weren't scared, because you were pretty sure it's a hallucination. Sonic sat on the ground, waving at you. Does he... Wants you to go to sleep? Before you closed the game, you could swear you saw Sonic winking at you. You turned the PC off, heading to bed again. You finally fell asleep, and when you woke up at the morning, you felt nice and fresh.

There no one there to see him go, the nurse who sits quietly across the room doing paper work as his only company. He lost all his friends, his love quest a joke, and all of his family dead or pretending he doesn't exist. Chris can't help but sob quietly as the only touch he will ever feel from a person is the creeping touch of death. And as everything slowly fades to black, he hears something. A sound, no a tune that fills his ears. It was strikingly familiar. Then he remembered. Oh how he remembered. It was music for the green hills zone. For one last time all the memories, the good and bad flood in. His journey...his painful journey had come to an end. He took his last breath and closed his eyes, smiling with streaming tears. All these years of misery are over. The merge never came to earth, but at least it would come to take him.

The AtGames Sega Genesis plug and play console had a horrible audio issue that caused the sound to be 4 tones lower than normal. This sounds exactly like that, go look it up if you're curious but be warned: It's actually bad
What tv type did you use? Cause as it turns out, certain TVs would accidentally run Sonic the Hedgehog slower than anticipated due to its fast nature. Thise tv where commonly found in Europe.
