- Welcome to Parkville Sounds in Hartford CT!
For The Parkville Sessions we invite you into our Studio B where we host the genius, music innovator and great friend, Doobie Powell. He is accompanied by his 14 piece band, which includes two of his brothers; on the Nord Organ and key bass, Kevin Powell, and on drums, keepin' everyone together is Billy Powell. Doobie and his family are Hartford CT legacy, often think of them as the founders of the Hartford Gospel Jazz Fusion you are about to embark on. Doobie was born to his father Hubert Powell Jr (Jazz Gospel Great), of Wood Brass and Steel and mother Jacquelyn Powell (Powerhouse Vocalist).
Sit back, cook dinner, dance in the house, whatever you're doing just feel good doing it. Enjoy "The Light" by Doobie Powell
