I have not been able to yet, but my husband really wants a few for pets. We went to the HERPS Reptile Show in January hoping to see them, but unfortunately they weren't there. I have always been scared of roaches since childhood, but working directly with Dubia has really helped me 😆 but these freaked me out for some reason. I'm sure I will get used to them. I like to interact with a Madagascar tho.
@@mightydubiafeeders I got my guys originally from my rescue. I took them in when someone was no longer able to take care of them. The common, well they just sit there. But I really love the Halloween hissers. They are always hungry and always wanting to be seen. Lol. I used to be scared to death of all bugs. Back in September I was watching an Antcanada video as a way of desensitizing myself to them and I saw a P. metallica tarantula. That got me started in my passion for tarantulas adn now all inverts and reptiles and just, I love animals. Lol. This is a new avenue for me.
That's awesome and yes I've had to get used to roaches over time. They are really harmless. Thats a cool story 😎 thanks for watching our videos! Have a good weekend.
Have you handled or seen Madagascar Hissers? Their spikes are insane but they are so cool.
