Hi Julie, may I know you self drive or take public transportation during this 4 days Hokkaido trip? In the public buses or trains does it announce upon reaching a next destination? I am going in Jan 24 on our own but just worry that we might not know where to alight if buses or trains don’t announce the destinations. Pls guide me.thank you.
@@julieinjapan_ Ah i see. Also, the smelt fishing activity from that website, does the tourguide speak english, and also include return transport to Sapporo?
Love ur video! We are going there this coming December. Any more suggestions especially the transportation because I’m traveling with 3 kids. We’re staying in niseko and Sapporo. Thank you in advance.
Glad you find this helpful. It would be better to drive but you need an International Driving’s Permit. If you can drive, I suggest reserving a car from “Times” and checking if your hotel allows car parking. If you’re using trains, I suggest walking underground all the time. We only found out about the underground around the 2nd day of our trip 😂 It’s called so hope you guys can still enjoy 💕
Hi! Planning to go to Sapporo in February. It seems like you stayed in Sapporo and did day trips to other cities, is that right? So many options on how to structure our trip haha!
Thats right. Our tours (niseko snowboarding + smelt fishing) we were picked up In Sapporo so thats why we opted to stay there all the times we were there. Too hassle to bring luggage everywhere.
@@julieinjapan_ thank you!! We will be doing a 4 week tour of Japan and Sapporo is the last stop (6N7D), and I’m trying to plan the itinerary- Was thinking of making Sapporo our home base and day trips to Otaru, Hokadate, Niseiko and Asakihawa. Would appreciate any feedback or recommendations? 🥹
This is great. Please try smelt fishing and winter sports in Niseko. Will you be there during the snow festival? Pls check it, too. And onsen at Noboribetsu :) DON’T MISS THE MATCHA place mentioned in the video! Sooooo gooood 💯
9.20 they asked you to leave? Just leave or or buy another thing, be respectful. Hospitality or restaurant or whatever you call is not easy(hopefully you gave tip)
We were eating, we ordered something and there were no customers 🤣 It was so weird. Living in Japan for 5 years, it was the one and only time we experienced that. Here in Japan, TIP isn’t a thing. There’s definitely a problem with the staff there. We went to another branch (3rd floor of that building, if I’m not mistaken) and everyone was super kind. The staff was rude, perioddddtt.
WOW! 😮
Hokkaido looks amazing! Great video, thanks for showing us 😍
It looks so beautiful in Hokkaido! I enjoyed watching that video, thanks for sharing 😍
That makes me so happy! Thank you ☺️

During this winter trip, we used bus and trains. And yes, they always announce :) Just make sure you also check your digital maps :) you’ll be fine ☺️
Thank you for the video! How long in advance do you reccomend to start booking hotels and activities?
We booked after we confirmed our tickets. ☺️ So depends on you!

Hi Vanessa! Thanks for leaving a kind comment 😍 We went in Feb 11-14 2022 :)
Nice! Thanks! 🥰
The sound balancing in editing... 🤨 (had to keep adjusting the volume) other than that, the video was really nice.
Thank you! Yeah I try to keep the volume the same but I guess I’m not better at it yet. 😅
May I know where are you stay when you at Noboribetsu?
