Spray white vinegar on Shane. Seriously, it takes the burn out and heals quicker. Have a fan it burns for a min is all, cause each time you do it that’s the burn from the sunburn going out of the body. You are amazing parents!!
Motherhood is a constant up and down journey.Don’t feel guilty because his happiness is different than yours. You’re right..the other three kids need to have their needs met too. You are doing a phenomenal job with all 4 of your kids..Don’t second guess yourself on that issue..Love ya girl❤️🥰😍
My son got third degree on both legs at work. it was so bad he had to get skin graphs, He worked for a steel company. I believe the cream he used was called Silvadene Cream. It has a silver glow. It's an amazing cream. Not sure if you can buy it in stores. It also helps with the pain. Today you could not tell he burnt is legs. Pray's coming your way for Shane. You probably already know but in case you don't (A lot of moms don't know) Dollywood now has a sensory room only for children with Autism- you have to get an employee to unlock the door for you bc they didn't want ppl just taking advantage of the room & a child need it and not be able to use it. Its across the bridge/Dolly Parton store. Its Amazing!!! My daughter spent about an hour there the last time we went it was so hot out she was struggling & it has an enormous bean bag & is air conditioned she passed out the second she hit that bean bag lol. The entire side wall is nothing but sensory toys it's just amazing my daughter is 15 nonverbal we got Dollywood season passes this year we're getting ready to go for the Christmas event. Maybe he would enjoy staying in the car just driving seeing all the lights.
For your extra breads, get a wicker basket and put the extra breads in it and put it on top of your fridge.
Bragg's Apple cider vinegar for sunburns!!!!!! Get an old t-shirt, cut it into strips and soak it in ACV and lay on burn for 20 minutes, it works wonders!
YOU ARE LITERALLY A LIFE SAVER THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH! I had no idea!!!!
Yesssss ACV can literally do anything 😆 lol. U can also use it as a fever reducer by soaking the bottom of your socks in it, then putting dry socks over them and wear them until they are dry and then repeat. I always use this method with my girls when they have high fevers. Fevers are good to a certain extent though, it's the body's way of healing itself! 💗
This legit does work!! I'm pale as pale can be and still get super sunburned with screen on. I also use witch hazel the same way and they have like a lidocaine spray too. And a dermatologist told me to use Tylenol at bedtime to take away the pain so you can sleep
@@fearfullycreated for your lips get some Carmex Classic Lip Balm Medicated it works wonders and it's only about $1.99. I use it anytime I start to get a fever blister and it's gone in a day or two. Hope it works, if not try the ACV on your lips too, it will sting though. Hope you both heal quickly. So glad y'all had a blast.
ACV also works on headaches soak a piece of a brown paper bag in ACV then put it on your forehead. My mom use to use this on me as a child and I still use this sometimes.
It also helps eliminate orders in your home put some in a bowl place it where ever
Here’s some advice, we use plain yogurt and rub it on your burn, it not only cools it off but it takes the swelling and tightness away.

Put that sun gel in the refrigerator! I had put a pan in the oven, not a pan I usually use it the oven, got it out and set it up on one of the eye. Went to move it and did not grab a pot holder, burnt the palms of my right hand. I keep that stuff in the door of my refrigerator and just pump it into my palm. Had to do it several times, but it took the burn out.
White vinegar for the burns. Apply with cotton balls. Stinks but it will help.
This video came up and I just wanted to hug you! We look after our little grandson at weekends. He is very like Cammy and many things worry him. We absolutely love having him and he loves coming. It gives his mummy time to sleep and spend time with his little brother. You are right protecting Cammy.. Why force him to go to the beach, and be upset. That's not being a good parent. You do need to think of the others too hun and I think you are amazing parents xx
There is a statement in education that applies to families with special needs children which states fair and balanced does not equate to everything being the same way for every child. In my mind, it applies to all children and people in general. In order to treat people well you seek to meet them where they are and provide them with what they need. That is what you do for all of your children and that is what makes you such a wonderful person!
An old sunburn relief is a cool bath with corn starch or baking soda. Make the water white with the corn starch or baking soda. It really does soothe your skin.
Put the ACV in a tub of cool water and soak in it and it will help dry the blisters out. I had sun poisoning and blisters all over from staying with a friend who had no sun screen and it saved me so much agony. I healed really quickly.

Can I say how much this speaks to me as an Autism mama, my son didn’t speak till he was 7. Routine is key for my son and still is. I withdrew him from public school in 4th grade and have homeschooled him since and he has THRIVED!!! Every milestone makes me swell with pride. He is 14 now and will be starting 10th grade next week (we homeschool year round) regression is real

@@fearfullycreated don’t ever give up hope, there is always hope. Your son has an amazing talent with drawing and he expresses so much through that. The way he uses his echolocation (parroting as I always called it) is great. Always here for an ear us special needs parents stuck together ♥️♥️

We do different things for our children according to their needs and their wants. That's part of us being caring momma's! Thanks for sharing your life with us!
Put some vinager on his body, my dad used to work on a farm and he used to come home so burn and in pain! So my mom would get papertowel soaked in vinager, and put on his skin and change it when it gets hot and put it back on and off for as long as u want, the vinegar brings the heat to the surface of the skin and it feels so good!
Shaving cream but mostly apple cidar vinnegar works
Peppermint..frankincense and lavender essential oils with some witch hazel for the sun burn

I’m sunburn queen over here being one of the palest people in the world. Get him some solorcaine! It helps so dang much with the pain. Blisters are the worst pain especially if they pop😓

Yes, Solarcaine will numb the burn and give him instant relief. Sunburns are awful!!
Solorcaine spray is the only thing that helps take the pain away! Make sure he drinks tons of water and cool wash cloths help. Bless his heart! Glad ya’ll had a fun trip!!

I want to thank you for respecting Cammie. There’s nothing more empowering for a child than to be heard. He’s told you he’s scared and you listened to him, not only that you listened to your other children. How empowered they must feel by you respecting their wishes. 💕The only one feeling bad about it is you and Shane. Sometimes we have a picture in our minds as to how we wants things to go but the reality is that’s not the way it will go. I get the disappointment of not have those picturesque memories we’ve pictured in our minds. Anyone with a child who doesn’t operate neurotically will understand. We have to celebrate their differences and you did by letting him go to nana’s by HIMSELF!! What a treat for him and your other babies to have the focus on them. Is it hard, oh my gosh it’s hard. It breaks your heart because you want them to have their best life and by not taking him you let him have his best Cammie life. Keep it up momma and dad. You’ve got this. 💞

We are Considering moving to TN my in-laws live in Bristol we love it there. My son is autistic as well level 1 not that that matters .Cameron had fun so don’t feel bad I know it’s hard to do things wo him .your son knows he is loved. We know what they are missing but I assure you our children on the spectrum probably could care less. My son has a fear of water too we leave him alone supervised and he gradually works himself in and has fun but at his own comfort level. We don’t force it.
I think you did the right thing by taking the kids that wanted to see the beach. You definitely have to let them have fun. I know that has to be tough leaving out one of your kids even for their best interest. I'm so glad y'all had fun!!

He really should get it checked I never go in for anything got fried once went in and my burn was almost so bad I would of had to visit the wound clinic weekly until healed. They gave me a special cream that healed me up in 3 days or so

Burns: ALOE PLANT is the absolute BEST! Brake a "leaf" and the clear gel that comes out is what u use. It numbs it, its a antiseptic and heals super fast.
Your talk in beginning about Cameron is how I feel about my oldest. He is 8, autistic and non verbal, and we are now getting to the point where we are thinking about plans that don't include him as he would hate it, but the younger 2 would love.
It is so hard! It’s one of the hardest things involving autism. 😫 no mama wants to make that call!

I have been sunburned a couple of times very badly (once was in Puerto Rico and ended up in the hospital) another time I relied on sunscreen which didn't screen anything. If he won't go to the doctor's, cold compresses, and apple cider vinegar. The pain is terrible. After the blisters calm down and dry up, moisturize heavily with vaseline.

White vinegar but I have used the other when I didnt have the white. It will really help draw the burning and soreness out

I know you probably won't see this since it was 6 months ago. I've just made it to 21:09 minutes and I've really enjoyed this video. First, you said "fiddle fart". I haven't heard that in a while, loved it! You said, some sunblock was dookie ha, loved that. Grocery haul is incredible to me. I have a family of 3. It's interesting to me to see how a family does this that is double mine. And was noticing how pretty your eye color is. Anywho, Love the video thus far. I'm gonna finish watching it. :)

Girl the BEST thing to use on sunburns it might sound weird but trust me...just about anything acidic like slice a tomatoe and rub it all over ur burn or a lemon or ik its stinky but get a spray bottle and put some white cider vinegar in it and spray it this will take out the sting from the burn AND help it so u dont peel...
Shoot i must have missed the part u said he was blistered...im not sure how that would feel but it works SOOO good on burns i do know that!! Oh and if ya get a like cookinv burn then instantly slather mustard on it and let it dry it WILL NOT BLISTER and takes all the burn out i was amazed when my bf told me that n i tried it...havent used anything else on cooking burns since

I know you've got a lot of suggestions already, but we've always used Aloe Vera and we put in it the fridge to keep it cool and we also use Solar Caine spray. I hope Shane feels better soon!
I’m so glad you all had a great holiday! For sunburns an old Floridian told us to use Pepto-Bismal over the burn, it takes the heat out.... it works, but probably do not use on blisters. Vinegar works too pulls the heat out.

Cut the dead bloom off, put the plant in a sunny place, even outside if you got a safe place it. It’s a Gerber daisy, right? They take 4 to 6 hour of sunlight. Google it. But mine hang outdoors and as long as I dead head it’ll keep blooming.
