- I flew from the newly inaugurated Terminal 3 at the Lucknow Airport to Bangalore on Indigo flight.
The construction of Terminal 3 at Lucknow's Amausi Airport (officially Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport) is a significant development. The terminal, built at a cost of ₹2,400 crore, currently has the capacity to handle 80 lakh (8 million) passengers annually. Once Phase 2 of the project is completed, the capacity is expected to increase to 1.3 crore (13 million) passengers per annum. This expansion aims to accommodate the growing air traffic and enhance the airport's infrastructure.

@@nerrailwaygorakhpur7173 i agree with u . I m also not satisfied with T3 Lko Airport. First of all washroom issues , AC doesn't work properly , staff r rude and their checkin process very hectic and confusing. Very less waiting area seat , lounge not functional . Inside the airport a lot of suffocation. Staff r also not helpful . Its floor also uneven . I that's why said in my comment T2 was much better and emotion . This T3 is not passenger friendly at all.

Terminal looks great, but what's with the windows? Why so much distortion of outside objects, especially moving one's like the aircraft?
You got keen eyes! Something is indeed weird with the window panes. But the distortion is only visible when you view from side angle, not when you view straight forward.

Does terminal 3 have lounge opened??
Yes, you can see the lounge at 4:01 however only HDFC cards getting accepted as of last month.

Lucknow, a tier 2 city is havinf 3 terminals. Whereas Bengaluru and Hyderabad being tier 1 cities, are having only 2 terminals. What's govt doing?

Because lko airport T1 was built in 1986 ,and doesn't have modern amenities for today's world. So another 2 terminals has to be built to serve domestic and international flights .
@@atharvasingh3596 South Indians are cry babies. They always cry and complain but they will never say that Kanpur is more populated and industrialized than Mysore and still Mysore got highways and airport even though Bangalore airport is loss making.
@@k2indeed8998 kanpur is more populated i agree, and more industralized maybe, But bangalore airport was the most profitable airport in the country last year while being fully privately funded and built without any government money, the gov has a stack because it gave the land. But i think a big city like lucknow should get a really good and properly maintained airports and new airports should be built where there is a demand for it.
