Looks like a lovely site, so a nice diversion in the end. The food in the restaurant looked yummy 😋
Roxy was having a great time chasing sticks 😁💜xx
Yes it was a nice site and wouldn’t have been that way so was a nice and good food too!
Yes Roxy loved chasing the sticks.
We’ve got one more video then it’s Keswick when we saw you guys, ironically we are at Keswick again now (ccc by the lake) 😀
Hope you’re both good- all our best, David & Rachel ❤️
Looks like plenty to do straight from the site. Thanks for taking us around. Take care Gill
Thanks very much Gill - really appreciated.
There were plenty of other places we didn’t get chance to explore with it being just the one night.
Have a great week, all the best, David & Rachel 👍
Hi guys this was great, lovely site and great views on the dog walk! That bridge over the railway needed a Rachel and Roxy twirl 💃 shame you missed the Pizza guy! Rachel looked so happy to get to the pub for some grub and a well deserved beverage! Food looked Delicious-arse 😂 have a great week guys ❤️
Hi thanks guys - it was a lovely site & yes you are right - can’t beat a good drink and bite to eat 😂😂 Rox & I do loads of twirls & swirls 😂
Thanks for 👀
Where are you guys off to next?
Rachel & David x
Hard when plans have to change at the last minute. But love where you ended up. Hope the restoration of the lido goes ahead. 30p for a pee! Great views. Dr Beckmann stuff is pretty good. We always take the laundry sheets. Much less mess. Roxy seemed to enjoy testing out the facilities. Nice drone shot whilst riding the bike. Dinner looked good. You know what you are getting on those sites Good standard 😊👍🚐
Thank you - it was a little disappointing as I was looking forward to going to Castleton but it’s one for the future - was good to be able to swap it for another site though and nice to try somewhere we hadn’t been too - all worked out in the end.
It’s great for storing the Dr Beckmann stuff as saves spills or boxes of stuff.
Be interesting to look back and see in a few years what it looks like after the restoration.
Thanks as ever for watching - really appreciated- have a great week ❤️
All the very best, David, Rachel & Roxy 👍❤️🐾
Fab vlog you two. Loving the drone footage and Rachel’s handy tip!xxx
Morning! Thank you 🙏 it was a lovely peaceful place x
First crease release now washing leaves - what next? 😂😂😂
Rachel & David
Hi David and Rachel a lovely video as ever and what a stunning area I’ve never explored the lakes bar Windermere Ambleside and hawkshead so a whole world to see! Looks a great place to relax and switch off the pub looked great and the views spectacular
Can’t get over that toilet lol 😂
Bet Roxy had an amazing time
All the best to you all Daniel
😂😂 Daniel the toilet was the highlight for us! 😂😂 Who would think of making a card reading talking toilet 🚽 and then go that step further by twinning it???? 😂😂 we might need to find out what it’s twinned with and go and see if it lives up to its twin!!!
We love the Lake District - despite its rain 🌧️ it is beautiful 😻
Thanks as ever
Rachel & David 💕
Great tour of one of our favourite sites to visit.
Hi - thank you for the lovely comment x It’s a cracking site isn’t it. We were gutted we couldn’t get to where we were going in the Peak District but the decision to divert here was the right one x
Thank you
Rachel & David x
Another lovely trip, shame your peak district trip had to change and nothing worse than poor signage when roads change etc. Food looked yummy.
Thanks Tim - yes it was a shame as we were looking forward to Castleton - however it does mean we can go back next year and visit hopefully. It was a nice stay at Meathop Fell where we probably wouldn’t have normally gone. The signage was a nightmare and normally they show up on sat nav which sorts the issue out. Food was nice and if you visit well worth a visit to the hotel restaurant 😀
All the very best, David & Rachel ❤️
Hi David and Rachel and Roxy it's nice to see you back in the Lakes enjoy all the vlogs every Sunday We were down at Grange over Sands tother week it was packed on a Tuesday
Hope you're both ok looking forward to other places you visit Check out on google about the old courthouse in Cockermouth that's partially collapsed into the river at rhe beginning of October It split the town in two
All the best
Malcolm and Sheila from Workington
Hi Malcolm and Sheila, thank you - we’re back in the Lakes again as a little behind on the videos - we enjoyed our visit (all be it the storm came through the day after Meathop so didn’t get out much but no damage) - hope you’re ok and pleased to hear you had a visit to Grange-Over-Sands.
Thanks for the info on Cockermouth will check it out -
All our best, David & Rachel ❤️
Hi guys. Great vid. I must have been to the Lakes dozens of times but never been to that part. I think calling it Grange OVER SANDS must have been a bit of Victorian public relations - all I could see was marshy grass!?
Thank you -
I think there may have been some sand further along but as you say in that spot we walked along was marsh land near the promenade.
All the best, David & Rachel 👍
