- We arrive at Castlerigg Hall Camping & Caravan Park, in Keswick. lake district. Another pricey site for us, but have to say again it was worth it. This is a lovely site and has the most beautiful views of the mountains and lake. I take you on a tour of the campsite and also some early morning walks listening to nature and the birds and enjoying the stunning views, it was so peaceful and relaxing, just what we needed. We also had the pleasure of meeting fellow youtube. We feel it is worth the price tag, the site is very well maintained and pretty, it is located a few miles from Keswick which is full of cafes, restaurants and shops, with tourist attractions too like the pencil museum. This is a walkers and cyclists paradise, you can literally pitch up and not have to use your vehicle for the rest of your stay. We will return one day for sure! I cook some vegan food for breakfast in the campervan and we have an issue with a broken item.

This campervan allows us the freedom of travelling in all seasons, we actually do most of our travelling in the Autumn/Winter as I have lupus disease | SLE | We stay on campsites & caravan touring parks, Aires & wild camp out in nature. We like to walk | hike with our cocker spaniel dog "Charlie" taking in breathtaking scenery of the countryside and the coast. There is something so magical about driving through the mountains and tourist areas in a campervan. Buying local produce to take back and cook in the campervan, or stopping at an independent shop for coffee and cake helping to support the local economy. Well done getting to 1000 subs! We love the Lake District though don’t know it too well. Love the walks around there. So relaxing. Sometimes it’s worth paying a bit extra. We have Richmond veggie sausages quite often. Very tasty ! Think I’d like the vegan black pudding 😉safe travels 😊👍x

I think you can buy oven door separately with some makes but before you do that have you tried good old Gorilla glue (make sure you get one suitable for plastic to plastic and heat resistant). You got to a 1000 subs! Well done Em. That is such a lovely campsite. Stunning views and amazing walks. Definitely worth the money for a relaxing time. Great you met up with the Mancs. We've been to Derwentwater and the Stone Circle and it's a stunning area. My daughter likes the Richmond veggie sausages but I can't eat them cos of the gluten. Lovely scenery at the end.

We stayed there in 2020, great site. We walked back up from Keswick & can confirm the hill is very steep 🤪

Hey, approximately how long does it take to walk into Keswick from the site please?
Hi Mark, we didn’t walk into Keswick from this site. But I believe it’s about 45 mins, but I will warn you it’s a very very steep walk back up. (Hence we didn’t walk it) Apparently there is a bus, that stops on the main road, you’d have to walk along the lane to the bus stop first though. Hope that helps. Em 💜

Two part Araldite or Metal Bond maybe even Gorilla Glue may fix that handle. Nothing can fix Vegan Black Pudding, absolutely nothing.
