This is the best standard approach for almost everyone we know, its rare for exceptions to this to come about. I know sometime in the future I will shed my restrictions and all the people who know and dont know me won't influence my speech or actions. Monks used to and still do shed their physical belongings that restrict them. I will do the same thing with my reservations and restrictions and turn myself into a "post-human" being, where I openly reject the secrecy and privatisation that people like to feel. People will see this honesty and openness and be moved by it. I do this in small amounts online and in person, but once you lift every veil there is no going back. You will viewed as a symbol rather than a person. And if you remain an individual and do not truly believe in the reasoning behind unity with ever fibre of your being you will see, what inevitably happens. Those people in my lifetime who have started this, usually it is an outburst post-breaking point, but they always retreat back into their individual activism phase. When I have finished what I need to do as an individual, I will become the symbol I want to see. Perplexing how the internet brings together so many corners of the world and I have not seen anyone do this. See you soon, world.

you have been a real big inspiration. When I started my channel a few weeks ago . I was doing commentary similar the same creators we both watch. But after seeing all the discussions happening all over x. I watch your videos to get a break from drama and I decided I want to go in a more positive direction as well. We need more of that and you keep being that beacon of light here on this platform.
I really appreciate that and I'm glad to hear from you. I hope you'll share your passions, hobbies, and adventures with other people on your channel. Let's make something good and positive for people.
Honestly, I'm grateful with what you have shared with us, and even just seeing a reply is awesome. You just keep being you, and stick to what you're comfortable with. Thanks for everything you do. :)
Every young builder goes through an anarchist cookbook phase. Even without an outside influence some people want to learn how the world works. The builders will find a way.
It's very responsible for you to be self-aware enough to not share certain things you were up to or built while you were younger. We all appreciate your maturity here on this channel.
I´m 64 so my youth was in the seventies and eighties. It´s one of the things I´m most grateful for because had there been social media in those days I would have been unemployed and/or in prison 🤣🤣
You're secretly Superman's father and you don't know how to break it to people, and you're sort of ashamed you faked your death because you don't want any of that superhero drama. You even changed your name from Jor El to Jerrel to hide from Brainiac. Superman obviously has your hair. I don't blame you. I understand, and I'm proud of you, both for your son and your flamethrower design. Only the mad scientist of a superhero would design something like that, which sort of gives you away, but your secret is safe with us.
When you first alluded to building things, I honestly hadn't anticipated what was coming. I was thinking of impromptu Lego/art installations that hadn't been approved beforehand or something 😅 And I appreciate the wisdom you show by considering what you say around younger people before speaking. There are too many hurts that occur from carelessly spoken words, and when someone is in a position of influence - whether publicly or personally - the impact of their words and actions resonates further and it is unknown what legacy that might leave.
Is this the first mention of the patreon? I must have missed that! Also.... I love this shit man.... "THERE ARE THINGS THAT I CAN'T TELL YOU ABOUT" followed up by "LOOK AT MY HOMEMADE FLAMETHROWER MADE TO ENDURE MELEE COMBAT!" Love it.
Only say what you feel comfortable to say, also I built something when I was younger trying to imitate the M2 Flamer from COD world at war, using a propane tank and some pipe. I don’t have it anymore but i will always remember using it to start fires on burn piles.
It's ok to only share what you *wish* to share, and sometimes even that can be more than I would, in my own case. We enjoy your content and will be here, regardless.
Realistic... I am very enthusiastic (96th percentile), so I relate completely. One thing that helps me examine the extremes is my understanding of Zen through Complete Reality Taoism. Yeah, I'll share things in some comment sections, and sometimes the meat of the topic is so serious the algorithm flags it as controversial. At that point I always start to wonder if it was worth dumping in an obscure comment section in the first place. But I still try to raise awareness about harsh subjects at times.
I am an inventor, I have come across a number of things/ideas that I won’t share either, it’s good to share that message. We gotta be carful. I have spent the last 3 years perfecting a device/tool that I’ll be releasing open source for the maker community. A big part of my goal starting this design was that there were other things I wanted to make but I saw the potential for people to use my creations to hurt people, so instead I’m making something that I believe only improves the creative potential and ease of inventing for other inventors. Watch out for krampus lol.

Not everyone thinks that way, but more people should be considerate of the privacy of other regardless of whether they have a public facing persona or not.
All jokes aside, this was a great video on an important but rarely discussed topic. I have had a situation where a former friend (irl) overshared details about several personal matters. Without getting too into it, if i were this person's significant other, i would feel very uncomfortable knowing that was being shared. Anyways, awesome video with an important life lesson.
Thank you for watching and understanding. Sometimes we just need to double check what we are going to say before we say it. Have a great holiday season!
I would absolutely love to see you build cool "Things" with modern tech. We used to build cool "Things" when we were younger out of whatever was available, also. As long as you don't have to kill us afterward.

Like a mix between Geralt, Turok and Mister Rogers. P.S.: Collecting mugs hidden in secret locations will boost your stats, like the Fallout bobbleheads.
