I've been going through the comments of each song and I'm loving how different people are saying how certain songs are there absolute favorite. Different people with every song. It's beautiful how the chili peppers can offer so many different flavors of music for each person, they're so diverse and know what magic to add with each tune. They truly are a blessing. I will have to say that Bag of Grins, La La La La La La La La, and this one, In the snow, are my favorites out of this album. I'm tearing up yall... this is truly something magical that we've been blessed to witness. This album is fantastic, so many great vibes on my road trip this past weekend. So many interesting guitar sounds from John, Anthony with a wide range of vocal styles. Of course, Flea and Chad doing their thing. So great to hear these guys sounding inspired and energized after a difficult couple of years.
Listened to the vinyl straight through for the first time a few days ago. I waited to hear all the songs together as a full album aside from Tippa my Tongue. I can say that each song feels solid and special on this album, and it's one of the best the Chili Peppers have ever done. This song in particular strikes a chord with me, and feels almost transcendent. The instant I heard it I knew it would be my favorite. Absolutely fantastic!
This album is pretty much more experimental than the last one. A lot of hits in unlimited love, especially radio friendly ones, but this new album is what i think a lot of chili peppers’ fans where expecting in terms of bringing different references, including john’s solo career, and prospecting the directions the band may take from now on compared to what was left over when john left. Hope to see the band experimenting and freely composing even more, towards expanding their boundaries and affecting more people.

The way their not afraid to make all kinds of music reminds me of the Beatles, only few bands can get away with this not because it bad music but have fans that want hear their band play music they started with. And have a fit if they didn't do the punk, rock or rap thing. RHCP fans mostly expect them to give us different taste of music and they do it well. They are truly blessed.

Had the 1st or one of the 1st concept albums with Sergent Peppers. Did country song and were so far ahead of their time that some of the music they made in studio, couldn't be played live because the music equipment couldn't replacate the music they produce.
These guys could probably mix in influences from whatever genres of music or band they want in with their signature sound and it would sound great. Even K-pop or nickelback

Hypnotizing. It took me a while to appreciate this song, originally this was by far my least favorite in the album. I now think it's beautiful and unlike anything I've ever heard.

It's beautiful how the chili peppers can offer so many different flavors of music for each person, they're so diverse and know what magic to add with each tune. They truly are a blessing. I will have to say that Bag of Grins, La La La La La La La La, and this one, In the snow, are my favorites out of this album. I'm tearing up yall... this is truly something magical that we've been blessed to witness. They have the choice to share their magic with us or not, and I am beyond happy that they choose to, they don't care if people like it or hate it, they love what their doing, as a band, as friends, and as family.. love rhcp.. keep it up. 💕🌶

This album is fantastic, so many great vibes on my road trip this past weekend. So many interesting guitar sounds from John, Anthony with a wide range of vocal styles. Of course, Flea and Chad doing their thing. So great to hear these guys sounding inspired and energized after a difficult couple of years.
Listened to the vinyl straight through for the first time a few days ago. I waited to hear all the songs together as a full album aside from Tippa my Tongue. I can say that each song feels solid and special on this album, and it's one of the best the Chili Peppers have ever done. This song in particular strikes a chord with me, and feels almost transcendent. The instant I heard it I knew it would be my favorite. Absolutely fantastic!
The spoken word in the middle of the song gives me a Moody Blues vibe. Such a good song.

This album is pretty much more experimental than the last one. A lot of hits in unlimited love, especially radio friendly ones, but this new album is what i think a lot of chili peppers’ fans where expecting in terms of bringing different references, including john’s solo career, and prospecting the directions the band may take from now on compared to what was left over when john left. Hope to see the band experimenting and freely composing even more, towards expanding their boundaries and affecting more people.

As a conclusion after listening to all the tracks once, I can say this album is the most remained footstep of John's exact manner of thinking and music taste in them whole discography... RHCPs Return of the Dream Canteen (RDC) is an album to celebrate the return of this great human, musician, band member of theirs and guitarist... so it's kind of a dedication in my humble opinion... I'm falling in love with this album, one track after another, this album was something i've expected from this lovely band by this blessing return...

i drove around my hometown at 7am in the rain listening to this for the first time yesterday....the second that rimshot hit, i knew i was in for a treat. what a great chorus, vibe, Anthony goes for it....Perfection. One of their most unique for sure.

The way their not afraid to make all kinds of music reminds me of the Beatles, only few bands can get away with this not because it bad music but have fans that want hear their band play music they started with. And have a fit if they didn't do the punk, rock or rap thing. RHCP fans mostly expect them to give us different taste of music and they do it well. They are truly blessed.

@@ciandyer9152 the Beatles were before my time but you can't knock them some say they had 1st hard rock song with Helter skelter, they made music with India sound when used the satar as main instrument. Had the 1st or one of the 1st concept albums with Sergent Peppers. Did country song and were so far ahead of their time that some of the music they made in studio, couldn't be played live because the music equipment couldn't replacate the music they produce.

Hypnotizing. It took me a while to appreciate this song, originally this was by far my least favorite in the album. I now think it's beautiful and unlike anything I've ever heard.
That chorus is a thing of beauty, so good. Took me a while to wrap my head around the song too, quite often the best songs are like that. When you don't hear something your brain was expecting, it sort of rejects it. Then when the brain knows what to expect, it accepts it :)
