We've stayed at the Treasure Island Beach Resort a few times now, and it's a great place to stay. Quiet, clean, great for families, and the gulf-front 2bd suites are awesome.
When I lived in Treasure Island my family used to eat at the Bilmar and they had probably the best grouper sandwiches there and the atmosphere was awesome. Also 30 years ago we stayed there for vacation and it was awesome.
Thanks a lot Mike. Really enjoy your videos of Treasure Island, our favorite Florida vacation spot. We've been going to Thunderbird for several years and good to know Turbo and Lily are still there. My, they spruced this place up! Love the new color. You got our subscription and a like. Maybe we'll see you in July. The Ludwigs from Indiana.
I have a question I used to live at what I believe was the suncoast motel and apts way back in the late 80's and if I remember right we had the suite on the 2nd floor and we also had a deck that overlooked the pool straight ahead and from the deck there were stairs as you were looking at it from the beach on the right side. I also remember there was a low lying shed that housed the pool equipment probably 2 or 3 feet tall. I am going to have to look at google maps at some of the places but the address sound familiar to me.
Hi Brett. The current Suncoast Motel and Apts is still there and operating. There is now also another side called Suncoast Beach Villas which are small attached cottages. They are very popular with vacationers. And, yes the wood deck still overlooks the pool. - Mike the Beach Guy.
Let me know what you thought - is this the format you want for hotels and places to stay? Your feedback is super-important to me.
I stayed at the Tahitian. It was lovely.
@@gabrielleangelica1977 Thanks for the feedback.
My black Thunderbird T-shirt is the best ever. It's still going after ten years!

Still is an awesome popular resort hotel. Sloppy Joes is now the most popular restaurant in the Bilmar.

I have stayed at Suncoast villas and it was an amazing experience. Perfect for families.
I love that it has different types of accommodations available. I think I would prefer one of the cottages, but the whole place is super cute.
