@@sheepstardetail that's the problem isn't it, when you're doing real world product reviews you have to really set stuff up and let it run, so the content can take ages to produce.
@@SuperchargedLlama even just chemical testing.. it needs 2 weeks to cure in the garage so the results are “as good as possible”. Luckily I have a test coming up comparing polishes so at least that can be filmed and posted in one day haha.
That’s a really interesting test! I wonder if there would have been a easy to clean difference at half time. The beading should make cleaning easier. If you want to test it to the max Sonax has a wheel sealant that has real lotus effect, it does not last super long and can’t be mechanically touched but has the craziest self clean. Thanks for your video !
Not sure I would put jescar on sonax ceramic spray, would mute the water behaviour. I have heard nothing but good things about sonax ceramic detailer though!
@@sheepstardetailyeah it make sense, I have the Detailer it’s good and easy to apply but the ceramic spray from my experience tend to last longer although I’ve read people having a hard time or needs extra effort as it streaks which I never had any but then again I don’t apply it on a completely dry but instead warm and damped microfiber and a soft dry microfiber on the other hand. Btw Have u tried carpro essence?
@@sheepstardetail yes which provides a gloss, have a little bit of paint correction capability and good for pre ceramic coating, have little filling capacity i believe and theres the plus version which does not have any stuff and just gives u gloss
Control wins vs Sonax, don’t put anything on your paint! 😂. It does beg the question as to whether hydrophobicity is a good measure of actual “protection”. Oleophobicity and dirt repellency are probably more important. I suspect slicker products are underrated.
I absolutely love you channel, always have! What a fantastic test.

Is that the Wheel Rim Shield?
Was just thinking of using jescar on top of sonax ceramic spray. Great comparison!

@@1kontrabida oh ok cool. I still have mothers CMX polish and coat for priming, and it doesn’t need to cure between polishing and coating application.
