Nightcap is also one of my favourite tobaccos.
It does exactly what it says on the tin and tastes fabulous doing it! A great classic blend, thank you for your comment!
Nightcap is a lovely blend - I find it far mellower than Early Morning Pipe - love your stories and content looking forward to more
@LukeEdwards-x8c thank you for your kind words, I appreciate it! The 2 blends, EMP & Nightcap are very different for sure, they do both have Latakia in different amounts, but thats it. Hopefully you'll continue to enjoy my channel!
NIGHTCAP is my favorite Peterson tobacco
@RobertoDohnert yes it's a great blend, one of my favourites for sure too.
Great video thanks for sharing and it was nice to meet you thanks for making me think about my grandpa and uncle and my dad smoking their pipes when I was a little boy now I’m smoking a pipe at the age of 56 been smoking pipe for about five years now you have a great day and the rest of the week my friend from Cincinnati Ohio USA 🇺🇸
aul-The-Searchlightpiper thank you so much for this comment, I'm so pleased I could bring a little happiness into your day! Enjoy the rest of the videos, plus there's plenty more to come...
Great Video! Lovely to here you talk of the past. Lord knows I certainly miss it sometimes. Nightcap man myself, a wonderful blend and I'm going give those Philtpads a go. Stay Safe brother, and you have yourself a new sub.
@pablo.e884 Thank you so much, I do appreciate your kind words! Yes I love Nightcap, it's such a quintessential old blend that uses the tobaccos for flavour and balance. Thank you for your sub, enjoy the other videos, and let me know what other blend(s) you'd like me to review or talk about please.
@carrigstudio I'm not sure if you can get it over there in Ireland but would love to see you review erinmoore tobacco. It's a great blend of Virginia, burely and kentucky with a fruity topping. Was my grandfather's favourite and holds a special fondness for me as it brings back memories of my childhood etc. If you can't get any I can certainly send you a tin.
@pablo.e884 you're in luck, because Erinmore is one of my old favourites, and I have plenty of flake & mixture in my cupboard!
@carrigstudio nice one hope you make that video, I used to smell the old tins as a kid when I used to spend the summer at my grandparents,, many fond memories. Thanks for acknowledging it and keep the videos coming brother.
I will certainly do that review shortly
great content! thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it! Plenty more to come!
Wonderful video, my friend!
Thank you, I really appreciate it!
Thanks for the video! I'm excited to dive deeper into pipe smoking!
@WhittlebacksCigars thank you, I appreciate that! Do keep diving deeper into pipes, buy a straight pipe, a tamper, and a tin or 2 of tobacco and get started!
Great story about pebble. I never thought of that, ha!
@strollandabowl yes makes sense when you think about it! My friend uses far less tobacco now since he started using a pebble, and loses no taste or time, as the bottom of the bowl is usually bitter and wasted. Using the pebble does use more of the tobacco with less dottle.
Goodness gracious look at that label I'm sorry I've never seen anything like that... ghastly!
@LiveToRapRapToLive93 you've obviously never seen a current Irish tobacco tin then, they are truly ghastly!
@@carrigstudio No sir first time. Love the content! Greetings from NY ~ Justin
Hi thanks for the video. Perhaps the pebble in the bottom of the pipe bowl was to reduce the Dottle (unburnt tobacco) also, at the end of a smoke. Do philtpads that you use help to reduce the tobacco dottle also?
thanks again Michael.
Hi @michaelflaherty9697 that’s correct, the pebble reduces the dottle as well as the amount of tobacco in the bowl, so stretches the length of time it takes to work your way through a tin of tobacco! Yes the Philtpads do exactly the same thing plus remove a lot of the moisture too.
