Those big beautiful trees are awesome - no words can describe them. I am almost in tears right now for how bad I want to be able to see the beautiful places you share with us! That river is so beautiful! A person just runs out of words to say about your gorgeous videos! ❤️ 🧡

Thank you, Terry. We are having a wonderful time exploring and sharing what we find. The Smith River is one of the clearest rivers we have ever seen. Even during a rainstorm. Now that we have seen the Redwoods I want to go back and check out the Giant Sequoias.😎 You guys take care and we hope to meet you on the road.

The Humboldt Redwood State Park is awesome! Albee creek campground is a good place to stay now, because of the old orchards there and the bears come to eat the apples. They don’t care about people, they just sit in the trees and eat! 👌

When you were taping your walk and you showed that tree I immediately thought what a great still photo that would make! I will check it out on your page. And.... Beautiful river shots. Love running water, I sleep like a baby. That park with all those trees, reminds me of our Carmanah Valley. Huge Cedars and Douglas Firs and others. I am not an arborist by any means. If you ever get to Vancouver Island, you gotta check it out. Smith River is amazing. :) The colours you guys, Carrie you should take up painting!! Amazing video today!! The Fairie Realm :) What an amazing walk, so calming. Trees are amazing, so much we don't see in the forests, if they could only talk. Ha, I just noticed there is a typo in your title. That was amazing place. Loved this video. I am surprised there was not at least one other person.

Actually, Carrie does like to paint! She is very good at painting rocks and making them look like animals. 😀

Gorgeous, I was out there once loved it. In the 60s we had a virgin elm forest. Unfortunately Dutch elm got it. But we had the largest elm in Wisconsin. It took 5 grown men finger tip to finger tip to reach around it. It was flooded half the year. It was like a magical paradise. We would canoe around the trees and listen to hundreds of geese and ducks and cranes and frogs. When my son was young we took him out there when we realized he didn't want to go. He pointed at the marsh and whispered Ewoks. So cute

The same campground we stayed at. Plus we found a couple of pull-offs nearby that looked private enough. I would be careful in Crescent City as the small town is pretty rough. We have stayed at the Walmart there but it does not feel as safe as it use to. Let us know if you want the coordinates for that free camp spot on the smith river we stayed at.

I know I know exactly where this spot is. It’s right across from grassy flat campground. It’s was a great place to go, until the national forest service closed it down for overnight camping due to a “TOURISTS” and not locals. He went on to say everybody who he catches violating laws are tourist and not the locals.
