I will also sometimes use compressed air cans (meant for computer cleaning) to both blow debris off of the mechanics pre-cleaning and post cleaning for drying inside the derailleurs and what not.
Another tip for the water sprayer... you can fill it with warm/hot water so if you're cleaning off a fat bike when it's 5°F outside you don't just coat the bike with ice.
