- Harley Benton hb-35, is it possible to play metal on the guitar, will it chug? Can you recognize any riff?

This kind of guitar is almost always used in blues/jazz and soft rock settings. But never used in heavier settings like in metal.
Ola Englund did a whole bunch of tests trying to make different kinds of amps and pedals chug, but never a "jazz" guitar :)

Is it possible to make the semi hollow body guitar chug? In this case, the Harley Benton hb-35, all stock. The ultimate metal guitar.

There’s that teeeeeeny weeeeeny little tinge on the top end that still says semi-hollow body. But yes, it chugs just fine. In fact, I really like the sound! It’s like classic rock combined with modern metal. This is a good sound.
You have good ears! Yeah it can chug for sure!
Thank you! I’m listening to it again and the chug seems more rounded at the top. That may be a better way of describing it. Therefore, I’m purchasing an HB 35. No joke.

Hi. Do you hear anything at all in your headphones that has to do with the semihollow body? or does it sound the some as a solid body

It was a long time ago, I think it was Toontracks Metal Amps, I also did some EQ, cut out some low end.
