Thanks, gents. I must agree. I've the same in black, with gold hardware. They're quite pretty, but might eventually gain other, better pickups and perhaps locking tuners, like my Epi dot 335 has. Still, it's amazing that we can buy this much guitar for that kind of money. Cheers!
Hey David thanks for watching! You're right, it is amazing what we can get for the money nowadays. Stay tuned for the next episode coming soon where the HB35 features in the jam. Please subscribe mate, if you haven't :) 👍
Would this H.B guitar be the cheap option to the Epiphone 335? I'm looking for a cheap option to 335 because where I live it costs more than 1500 euros 😢
Guess I am gonna find out right! Just bought the hb35plus lemon drop coming in day after tomorrow. First guitar I have ever bought. Had my Strat given to me and it definitely has serious issues, not sure if they are fixable, still trying but the E string goes out of tune in just a short 30-45 minute practice session. If the Strat can not be fixed I will be looking to buy a replacement in the future as it lends so well to so many genre's. Great jamms, really enjoyed it, keep em coming boys.
Couple of mods thar would propably sort out the woes of the guitar: A String Buttler - Gibson-style headstocks are a major arse to deal with, but this little 40'ish buck gadget sorts it nicely. And Partial coil splits - AKA the PRS coil split: slap a resistor between the ground and the muted coil, 2.6kish is traditionally popular, retains a bit of the muted coil to give the live one something to bite on, but 6.5k-10k resistor in there really starts getting you into some interesting P90ish tonal territory. This, of course appreciating what a major arse any electronics work on a 335-style is. 😁
The 339 has been a staple of the Bay for a while now and it ain't going anywhere... But your right the HB is half the price and with a nice set of pickups would be a contender.
Yeah the 339 has the classic pro pickups if I'm not mistaken. Those are '57 copies so nice and clear/bright. If you put those babies in the hb35 it would go from a good guitar to a great guitar 😊
Thanks for watching...I guess you're Always Right but we find there are good & bad with all guitars. We got lucky with this one, the neck & fretwork was really high level
I always expect guitars to need a fret leveling these days. A local trip to music stores will find most of them with uneven frets. I bought a fret rocker and fret hammer and I can fix most of it in an hour.
@@alwaysright3718 You don't have to. I do believe you when you say that you bought a HB and spent another 500 bucks to fix the frets. Sounds like the smart thing to do. Good luck!
Still the best sounding and most beautiful $250 guitar I've ever bought...I've never regretted buying mine...
Mine sounds spectacular ❤
Great vid. Who doesn't want to talk about guitars over a beer. 👍
Hells yeah thanks for watching 🍺🙌🏻

Thanks for watching Greg! You won’t go wrong with a HB for your first purchase. Enjoy it and share with us your experience. Happy holidays

Спасибо, хорошее видео! Наконец то узнал какого эта гитара цвета.
X-factor - Iron Maiden
That 2nd jam was sweet!
Nice comparison. I thought the 339 sounded better, but that's over twice the price of the HB.

There is HB-35 without split coil
Nice! What's the chord progression @ 18'19?
Seems to be a Em to Dmaj, Am, G then an Emaj, D
@@TheGuitarBay yes! But from which song?
@@huli8557 its not a song just a random few chords 🙏

Cost me $500 to fix the frets on my Harley Benton... worst guitars ever...
