Cupra has DSG so there’s no gap in torque. The RS driver has to change gear so he loses speed with each shift. In fairness to the Cupra, German engines are generally always more powerful than they’re advertised. The 296hp advertised EA888 engine is probably closer to 320hp actual, so the power gap with the RS isn’t as wide as it first appears.
A vectra vxr would tear both apart but put a focus rs on a track will ruin most cars around its range . Audis are cheap mans Bmw always have been always will be!

That RS seems to be revving a bit low. Launch control is usually 5k, but this sounds like 3k. And IDK if the driver was short shifting or what.
