** I APOLOGISE FOR LOW AUDIO GUYS **
This is a thank you video for all your support and nice feedback that i recive during my last upload.
    You're great guy's.
In this video i will show you fev tips and tricks in cutting board making.
And how to make endgrain edge around the board the easy and fast way.
Remember never glue endgrain to facegrain or vise versa.
It will brake/crack or bend you're board.
This is also best way how to make boards bigger than your planner.
You can make board wide as your planner and than after crosscut glue this endgrain edge.
I use 4 kinds of wood in this one and
To get the same look or pattern you must too.
I use Brasilian rosewood , cherry , walnut, maple.
The most tricky part while makeing this board is gotta be glueing.
So be sure to go slowly and place hold down pieces to hold board securely in place. As i mentioned in my video 45° pieces can slip when under pressure.
To be more secure you can first glue one side of the board and than the other.
Please do know that all my boards and plans for it are all my own design and to make it happen it does take some time and skills.
To be able to produce more cutting boards and plans for you guy's i need your help.
You can help me with: Subscribing to my channel, share my videos, comment and hit like button.
This will give me motivation and help that i need for producing good woodworking content.

(nunca pegar contraveta a veta)

Love your videos, this is another great board. Please work on the volume of your speaking being balanced with the noise level of your tools. I like to hear both, but I kept turning up the volume to hear you speak and then suddenly getting blasted by the sound of your saw.

I have plans made and you can find the link to it in the description. The tricky part is gluing because angled pieces can slip when applying force. How do you keep two sets of triangles from showing their ends after sanding and planing? That or basically having like a flat top on one of the triangle sets?

    • @Slovenianwoodworker
      @Slovenianwoodworker  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Not sure if I understand your question correctly. You mean how the triangles have flat top instead of angled/ pointy top?
      If that's the case ok.
Once I glue all ripped pieces also andled ones they have sharp tops. But the more you plane thr board after the more flat will top of the triangles be. So after crosscut you have almost squares instead of sharp triangles.
