@@dango6266 So imagine the in-depth mechanics all glimpsed at in this video. Now in addition to that, all resources need to be delivered to work sites, workers need to be delivered to work sites and only work when at the work site, you have to deal with trash, you have to deal with vehicle maintenance, etc. So you're adding orders of magnitude more complexity and difficulty to an already complex system.

I want to see Laith play with realistic mode on hard, dealing with winter, water, sewage, trash, demolition, etc, all while having to manually construct everything. If he thought Workers and Resources was hard now...
Trash is by far the most difficult thing added to the game. It is the only mode which when turned on alone spikes the difficulty. Water, winter sewage etc... alone aren't difficult whilst realistic mode is a test of patience more than anything.

also this is one of the last games I would not skip the tutorial in, so if want you could go click on the tutorial button on the main menu

It would have solved a lot of his simple questions like how to connect buildings together and how to take care of basic needs, for starters. The tutorials really are pretty good but I think he just skipped them for entertainment value so we could all see him struggle, lol
Brother just match the symbols to each other. Warehouse has no coal storage, so either you build an aggregate storage or you send the trucks to the border post directly

Like watching a train wreck in slow motion, lol. At least he was honest in that he had no idea what he was doing and it was likely his fault and not because the game is bugged or broken. Too many youtubers insist the game is broken or bugged when they just can't admit they might not understand something.
Though playing the tutorial helps, lol.
bro just casualy forgot that bus routs require busses to work, pcroceeded to try to dump coal into a goshdarn warehouse and then doesn't even know railwaycrossings exist, i know the soviets weren't known for their invoation, but a railway crossing really isn't too much to ask for.

I dunno man. I play both and this one isn't that hard. It does help to play the tutorials though because it does do things a bit differently than other city builders or logistics sims.

Ive been playing this game for many years now (aprox. 4) and i find it to be the best city builder game yet created. My very painful issue with the game is the fact that when your citizens move in the game suddenly becomes quite demanding for my poor laptop. So i end up overdoing it, building a massive, transit oriented urbanist paradise with like 50k citizens and the game immediately stops being playable for me (maybe like 30 fps).

Nice that you tried this game, I've been playing it since it EA released, it's an amazing game with an enourmous potential but you need to play many hours before being able to play the Iron Mode.
I've been playing for years and it never fails to suck me in each time I fire it up again after a break. It's one of the best city builders out there. If you're just as interested in making an amazing looking city as you are in making sure the citizens living there have power, heat, water, sewage, trash removal, food, clothes, and have ample access to services like hospitals, entertainment, sport, and, of course, shopping where they can buy TVs and radios to tune into state approved programming this is the game for you. And everything is there to source and build all of this in your own republic.
If it can help my hair is way more sentient and crazy than yours

I threw myself into the deep end. No tutorial, no campaign, straight into a custom game on hardest difficulty except I enabled medium funds. It took 2 attempts and a few hours but the game is easy, just tedious.

But also for the love of all things holy, do the tutorial or at least read tooltips for buildings. They state everything necessary to know - what the building needs, what it produces, what it stores, how many vehicle stations it has etc. Your warehouse troubles could have been averted just by reading the tooltips.
It's quite aggravating watching Laith not sorting out aggregate logistics. :p

If you guys think TFL is bad you should try SouthEastern! Was acquired by the U.K. government after the rail company was caught of evading £25 million in tax and the trains are highly unreliable! this game is not that hard laith
if you want to get more vehicles you have to use the vehicle depot and scroll through options to get more vehicles
you can also just attach a storage to the factory directly
also don't try it on the hardest settings you will probably kill yourself at the very least don't use realistic not until you know how the game works

Not sure it's the right niche but if anyone's interested in the effects of Soviet ideology I strongly recommend Schwerpunkt's videos series
I watched the one on "the Soviet abomination of humanity" and "Soviet genocide", and I'll have to admit they were both complete shit with nothing worth listening to. There is no understanding of the actual events that occurred under the USSR, or during the revolution, no understanding of how the people percieved the state, of how they were educated under the USSR (a comment by a former soviet citizen, though accepting of the video, made it very obvious that Schwerpunkt was saying a lot of disinformation, for example he was never taught the essentials of Marxism since that was saved for university philosophy and economics etc.), no understanding of the Soviet economy, no understanding of the actual bolshevik ideology, and no understanding of the goals of the state or how they changed across the years, and the alternative solutions that were proposed for the issues that the state faced. Pls, don't waste your time on this.
If you try to build postsoviet republic , you wll fail as well. Ask anyone from them , not Warsaw pact but former USSR its important.

@@Gustav_Kuriga I dont think you understand what release means, It means that the public can get their hands on it, and it released about 2/3 years ago from memory, I didnt have to do any special forms or anything to get my hands on early access, It was public, able to be bought by anyone, Even had some DLC already, Nothing really changed when the game officially "exited early access", all they did was make a campaign using already existing constructions and features, and a biomes dlc that gatekept the new features such as longer winters for tundra, and muddy roads for tropical for roads that aren't paved.

A "release" can often just mean that a new version with has been released, or that a milestone has been reached in the game's development that is released to the live version of the game (as opposed to a development version only available in the studio). Also you clearly have no idea what a milestone is, since adding a campaign itself would be a major milestone and likely the last step before considering the game no longer Early Access.
