This update looks so much fun! I guess its time for Economic Imperialism. Would be interesting to see you forming a new custom bloc with Japan, Dutch East Indies or Sokoto (which is my favorite nation to play). For example control the world by trade or something like that 😀

Sokoto was the first nation I played as in Vic 3. My opening move was to conquer lands till brits sided with one of them with ban slavery/open market CB.... and hope I could conquer my neighbors before brits got there.

This whole thing from June 1874 to 1875 could be considered WWI. We got Prussia + Austria + Russia + USA + UK vs. France + Ottomans + India + the rest of Germany, and Italy fighting both sides

This finally looks like a version of Victoria I want to play. If this was the 1.0 release, I'd have been on board. It's a pretty rough ask at $80 tho.

This dlc is the best paradox dlc in years. Completely changed the game, Victoria 2.0 basically

@@LaFonteCheVi To add to this; It's where Persian Blue comes from which is based on the mineral Lapis Lazuli that is mined in Persia, the name itself comes from lāžward, the persian word for Gem
kinda glad this dlc was postponed... looks like they have done pretty good job of it. can't wait to be able to download it. shame they chose to release it on a Monday.

Why do you play the game suboptimally. Your authority should always be between 0 and -100. Influence should always be close to 0, if your infamy is below 10.
Also you need to make use of yoyo swings and consolidate smaller vassals into larger ones

@@ivaylonikolov7138 it should be able to be used on any power bloc member as long as you are the leader, the bloc member isnt your subject and if you have enough cohesion

99% of the big improvements people are excited for in the 1.7 update are free. Also, apparently, altho you can't make the special power blocs without the dlc you can still use the power bloc mechanics of the nations that start with one
Most of the important changes are free

Actually all start date power błocks are for the base game owners (so you can Play as the Ottoman one)

jesus, so much time passed since release and still the game looks boring af. I have watched two sponsored videos but it just does not look fun at all, a real shame. Hopefully eu5 will not follow this path.
I enjoy the economic stuff. It just has different pace to most paradox games.
It is super fun. If you don't like nation building and economic/trade management than Victoria will never be the game for you. After this patch V3 is leagues better than V2 ever was.
EU4 is exceedingly boring. Spreadsheet clicking simulator.
