The amazing thing about all of the minor prophets is that they all point to Jesus. They all talk about the coming king who will restore after sin has been dealt with in God's people. I am currently going through a tough, tough season partly due to my own sin and lack of forgiveness. God had warned me, then he let the "armies of Babylon" come, and now I feel hope for the restoration of my life.. because of repentance and ultimately God's forgiveness. This can truly be an allegory for someone's life as well as the life of a nation. Praise God for this!

I myself used to struggle with sin and lack of forgiveness But God brought me through this with much prayer. He is such an amazing father. Thank you for sharing your testimony it revealed something to me.
I can't go to sleep. It's almost 2am in the morning where I am. I remember there's a Bible in my beside drawer. I haven't read the Bible for God knows how long. As I have my hand on the Bible I have a quick prayer just asking God that where I open up is something to show me. I land exactly on the beginning of the Book of Zephaniah, so I read the whole thing, and wow... If this isn't relevant to the time we're in right now. Thank you God for always having your hand on me 🙏🙌

As I read the book of Zephaniah I realized something was off when in the middle of the rule of a just king (Josiah) a prophet was proclaiming destruction and wrath from God. And my whole reading session was plagued by that question. Why? Then the Lord made me understand exactly what you guys said on this video. "It's the people!!" A righteous ruler can come, destroy idols and reestablish the Law of the Lord, but if the people aren't purified and judged individually, change won't truly come. Oh but it HAS come through JESUS CHRIST, He is gathering us, just like in Zephaniah 3, to glorify His name and show the world that He is gracious and glorious beyond any kind of human depravation.
MrTruthislight if you read Revelations, Heaven will open its gates to ALL types of races, ethnicities, etc- not just the Israelites. Jesus Christ came to save ALL of us. Jesus called himself the shepherd. And he said the shepherd will leave 99 sheep just to get 1 lost one. All of us were/are lost and Jesus’ love isn’t limited for one country. He came for the other people too, just like a shepherd comes for the beloved sheep.

It has always been about ALL people coming to know the Lord. Certainly not just one race. They were to be a light to the nation’s and they failed dismally. God always knew they would and that it would be His own Son that would draw all people to Himself. As is so clearly stated in both the Old and New Testaments there will only be a small remnant of Jews that will be saved. Along with tenants of all other nations. Together we make up the ‘Israel’ of God today and are heirs to all of His promises.
I have been reading and studying the 12 minor prophets. I’m down to my last two books since I actually started with Malachi. I have been blown away by the parrales of God in the Old Testament and God during Covid 19. I’m struck by the fact that for generation after generation we see God protecting His “remnant” of people. May we be the people of 2 Chronicles 7:14 and find favor and protection in the eyesight of God. Thank you for such awesome videos! May God bless and protect you and your ministry.
Very true and I have come to the conclusion that the Father protects the remnant for the sake of the nations not instead of them. As James said, we are the first fruits of all his creatures. God bless you.

Do not agree with first part, but the rest is spot on accurate! Yes study your bibles, but do not limit your knowledge to a single book, assembled by a Roman emperor & that Council of Nicea who chose which books or scrolls to include. Rather seek truth wherever you find it, with insight from the Father, you will come to know so much more. Be blessed, but also be warned, worldly religion, humankind, this earth, and all the heavens in the material realm, were not of God the Father, but another. Do not be mislead, seek and you will find, you will know. All the best!

I've read Zephaniah in my King James bible before, but I never had a real understanding of it until i came across this video. I just watched this February 2,2019 today and the message was targeted towards me I was thinking why did God allow so much evil but I finally know why and this bible story spoke to me and its just what I needed for today now I know that God will punish the wicked its all in God's hands he's in control,don't worry.

Bible Project: Thank you so much for using this platform to share Gods word! Chapter 3:9-end came as such a shocker to me. Reading from ch1 to that point, I couldn't imagine a greater plot twist. The fire of God's judgement is intended to bring about repentance transformation and revival! God's heart toward sinful people is perfectly shown in Zephaniah. What an awesome God we serve!

I am a lay person who has been asked by my pastor and elders to lead the senior citizens Bible study at my church. We've been studying the minor prophets since March and have completed 9 of the 12. I'm sorry to say that I only discovered your videos a couple of weeks ago. They made it so much clearer to me as we went through Hosea and Haggai. Zephaniah is next for us and this video will help me tremendously as will our last 2 prophets, Zechariah and Malachi. God bless you and your organization for these very clear and informative videos.
God has given man so many chances to do right by Him. Each time we fall back to sin. It’s no wonder that one day we will lose this earthly world for the final time. I have a sense that it may come sooner than later. I will be at peace when this happens because I know I’ll be given eternal life with my Father.

ISAIAH 36 - ZEPHANIAH “Beware lest Hezekiah persuade you, saying, “The Lord will deliver us.” Has any one of the gods of the nations delivered its land from the hand of the king of Assyria?” (Isaiah 36:18) WORDS BY: FATHER "Isn’t it interesting how Zephaniah is the great, great grandson of Hezekiah? And isn’t it interesting how Isaiah 36 talks about the Assyrians coming up against Hezekiah when at the same time Zephaniah 2 speaks about the destruction upon Assyria? The enemy’s tactic is much like the Assyrian’s attitude when they confronted Hezekiah. Rabshakeh’s threats contradicted himself, where in one hand he said that he was sent by Me and in the other he said that no god has delivered a nation from their hands. All darkness is contradicting and you will find that the more you observe the enemy and how he works, the greater you will understand his tactics and his loops of contradictions. It won’t be long before you find him doing or saying something contrary to his point of argument. The enemy does this through people and through your own thoughts. You must bypass these smokescreens and get to the heart of the matter. Why is your enemy making threats to you? What is his agenda behind them? What part of the plan is he hiding from you that he is trying to accomplish? Always question these things and if you’re ever in doubt then return to your foundation - My word. The enemy’s aim is to bring confusion by planting seeds of doubt and distrust. When these thoughts arise, bind and loosen. Apply a blood covering to cleanse and discharge all demonic principalities at work. This will clear the air making you able to see clearly. Never dwell in the pit of confusion less you be judged also. But in everything, seek Me and uphold My justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility and it will be well with you."

For the Read Scripture App, it'd be great if there was a way to have a gallery of the last image from the video. When I'm reading, I find I always want to refer back to the break down from these videos, but it takes a bit of time to pull it up and search for the part of the video I'm looking for. If it was a separate image on the app, I could zoom in on my phone and refer back to what chapter correlate with which ideas.
Recommend you select the highest video resolution, find the image you wish, then CTRL-C or screen capture the image in full screen, then launch a graphics app (free if you do not have one), paste CTRL-V or use paste in pulldown menu, then save the file to an image directory of your choosing. I am a lay person who has been asked by my pastor and elders to lead the senior citizens Bible study at my church. We've been studying the minor prophets since March and have completed 9 of the 12. I'm sorry to say that I only discovered your videos a couple of weeks ago. They made it so much clearer to me as we went through Hosea and Haggai. Zephaniah is next for us and this video will help me tremendously as will our last 2 prophets, Zechariah and Malachi. God bless you and your organization for these very clear and informative videos.

God has given man so many chances to do right by Him. Each time we fall back to sin. It’s no wonder that one day we will lose this earthly world for the final time. I have a sense that it may come sooner than later. I will be at peace when this happens because I know I’ll be given eternal life with my Father.

ISAIAH 36 - ZEPHANIAH
“Beware lest Hezekiah persuade you, saying, “The Lord will deliver us.” Has any one of the gods of the nations delivered its land from the hand of the king of Assyria?” (Isaiah 36:18)

"Isn’t it interesting how Zephaniah is the great, great grandson of Hezekiah? And isn’t it interesting how Isaiah 36 talks about the Assyrians coming up against Hezekiah when at the same time Zephaniah 2 speaks about the destruction upon Assyria? The enemy’s tactic is much like the Assyrian’s attitude when they confronted Hezekiah. Rabshakeh’s threats contradicted himself, where in one hand he said that he was sent by Me and in the other he said that no god has delivered a nation from their hands. All darkness is contradicting and you will find that the more you observe the enemy and how he works, the greater you will understand his tactics and his loops of contradictions. It won’t be long before you find him doing or saying something contrary to his point of argument. The enemy does this through people and through your own thoughts. You must bypass these smokescreens and get to the heart of the matter. Why is your enemy making threats to you? What is his agenda behind them? What part of the plan is he hiding from you that he is trying to accomplish? Always question these things and if you’re ever in doubt then return to your foundation - My word.
The enemy’s aim is to bring confusion by planting seeds of doubt and distrust. When these thoughts arise, bind and loosen. Apply a blood covering to cleanse and discharge all demonic principalities at work. This will clear the air making you able to see clearly. Never dwell in the pit of confusion less you be judged also. But in everything, seek Me and uphold My justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility and it will be well with you."

For the Read Scripture App, it'd be great if there was a way to have a gallery of the last image from the video. When I'm reading, I find I always want to refer back to the break down from these videos, but it takes a bit of time to pull it up and search for the part of the video I'm looking for. If it was a separate image on the app, I could zoom in on my phone and refer back to what chapter correlate with which ideas.
Recommend you select the highest video resolution, find the image you wish, then CTRL-C or screen capture the image in full screen, then launch a graphics app (free if you do not have one), paste CTRL-V or use paste in pulldown menu, then save the file to an image directory of your choosing. You will have an image you can bring up in an image application while you study, so you can refer back to it at will. All the best to you, be blessed.
