Hey Ruinous, I believe the reason those night goblin archers were shooting explosive rounds is because of Grom's cauldron, allows him to give a variety of buffs to goblin archers, such as explosive rounds, anti large, anti infantry, etc.
Ahh, that's it, thank you! I didn't realize that was one of the upgrade options. But really this raises another, more important question - how in the name of all that is holy do _greenskins_ have _explosive arrows_ when even the dwarfs do not?
True, you should take Talabecland or Gelty. Having a free fort bot and legendary lord or having two state troops for 1 is too good of an oppurtunity You should probably deal with Loue as fast as you can military or diplomatically, since you can get into a 3 front war with Vlad in east, Festus in middle and Loue in west
Yeah, I'm kind of leaning Talabecland since they're adjacent. Gelt seems to be doing ok doing south and can develop his fort without us having to pay for it.
@@RuinousInsightmy vote will be for absorbing Talabechland as well, since Gelt tends to fare much better on his own and rarely get stomped. As for Bretonia, I honestly can't see any of them declaring war on you any time soon when their lands are filled with major factions that both of you are at war with. Belakor, Malagor, Ikkit, Grom - poor Far Enchantress is stuck there like a gal from a certain meme, and Louen's position isn't much better. If you don't help them, the only way they survive is through Wood Elf incursions.
@@RuinousInsight I agree, as for Talabecland, you should remind Talab that an AI empire minor faction that has 2 capitals in less than turn 30 is going to get confederated first
15:25 they’re Trolls, they can do whatever the fuck they want. It’s unlikely to happen this campaign, but eventually you will find out the power of that freedom 1st-hand…assuming SFO treats them nicely, ofc
Yes and no. He's still alive, kept on life support on the golden throne. But he holds the power of the gods because of the power of belief in the God Emperor giving him that power. He originally wasn't before the Horus Heresy, but now he's almost a full God. He just needs to die, which can not be allowed for so many reasons, to ascend to true godhood.
@@Anoiy Basically. You even have knife ears, Eldar and High Elves, say he's not a God. (For the Edlar one, just look up Dawn of War Dark Crusade Eldar attacking the Space Marine Stronghold where the Eldar leader says the Emperor is not divine) Damn knife ears, always gotta ruin all the human's fun. Lol
For all intents and purposes, he is a god, 'mortal' shell or not. Holding back all of Chaos and being able to manifest his will throughout the Imperium are god-level feats. The term is pretty loosely defined as well - if we compare his current strength to, for example, an Eldar 'god', he is without a doubt considerably stronger.

This is correct.
Yeah AI Grom always uses the explosive arrows in my experience.

Well the dwarfs dont have bows.
So No arrows
@@Ridiculy Sure they do! [picture of a throwing axe]
Festus and Grom? Two bloated annoyances that infect the land with their own blight. Festus with plagues and Grom with his girth.
Festus got some girth on him as well, to give credit where due.
@RuinousInsight Grom has more girth though. He's Grom the Girth after all.

Was really looking forward to it ... This campaign of yours will be the highest watched among all your playlists..
Thanks man! I had almost forgotten how enjoyable Empire is to play.
@@RuinousInsight That feeling when you feel patriotic for a nation of humans that does not exist. FOR THE EMPIRE! FOR SIGMAR!
grom gave an amazing seige to watch really looks great
anyone else hear demi lavato singing her hit 'stone troll?'
Two great battles. Keep it up. You've got me trying dawi and tomb kings, now I am gonna have to go back to my favorite faction, the Empire, on SFO.
Ruin, there is ALWAYS a second stack. 🤭
These fort battles are giving me Helm's Deep vibes. Hope someone mods them to create different (but still as solid) fort maps
Love watching your empire campaign! Recently found your channel and have been glued to this campaign since
im gonna pick another full playlist next time so i donthave to wait lol.
This is great channel
if you put your gunners on the walls dont lock them put them so they are on the walls but not locked in if that makes sense
Damn, and here I thought docking was working better since the bow units seem to be doing ok. I'll give it a try!
In wh2 the handgunners were able to fire.
When will we get episode 12? 🎉🎉
GG
This is unrelated but I've been getting into 40k and I'm wondering if the emperor is a god or not

Thanks for explaining so in a way he is like talos from elder scrolls but still alive

@@RuinousInsight Well, I think that particular comparison is a bit off given the state of the Eldar pantheon post-Slaanesh.

Hey ruinousight, I'm don't understand, are you use the mods of SFO Grimhammer III Factionwide caps in your gameplays?
I believe so - I just left it on default. I generally only fiddle with the caps if I feel like something is off.
@@RuinousInsight it's that? But their units are awesome AND give you more options
Caps don't bother me - I don't like to build too many of one type of unit anyway, as I theme my armies around different things whenever possible.

upgrade your forts
