I don't see what Tony's issue is. He was lucky enough to get the sex without the commitment, and with a drop dead gorgeous lady. He should be over the moon 🌙. If anything, considering she gave him her body so easily, you think that now she'd be pushing for commitment from him.
Laura has a point but she didn't have to come across of being a total bitch to him he told her off in the end. She was giving out mixed signals and mixed emotions.

As a kid I thought she was mean. As an adult I see her character in a different lens. She wasn’t mean, she was ahead of her time. She was independent, wasn’t afraid to move the way man does, she never lead Tony on. He made assumptions and was way too pushy. The irony is Tony accuses her of using him, but he was using Jackie just the same. He basically met the female version of himself and he couldn’t handle it.

Laura was that mirror image he needed to confront to do some deep soul diving. He had much of what he needed thrown at him most of his life but never appreciated it. Now he got that cold cup of coffee from his 'match' in Laura. He needed Jackie, but needed to grow up too.
