I've been running the same deck concept but using: Ebony Maw over Iceman Ghost Rider over Jubilee Odin over American Chavez It's super fun but feels a little inconsistent vs what decks I normally use

I have the worst luck, but I used this against a Hela deck, and won. They played their Invisible Woman, I played mine. I had Modok and then Hela. They never got their Hela.
I don't get Wave in this deck. If you just want her in a general ramp sense because you have three 6 cost cards (2 + Chavez) that's okay. Is that the point? You're hoping you have something big on Turn 4 AND Turn 6 and they don't. And she's only there for when you don't have your combo? But would Ghost Rider (who at least pulls Black Cat or possibly a discarded Hela) or Morbius not be better? (Or is Morbius not better than Iceman? It seems like if you are trying to throw in Iceman when you have an extra Energy, Electro ruins that, as does Iceman's ability being less good later in the game.) Electro is different because if you have Invisible Woman, he allows you to "ramp" BOTH MODOK and Hela then drop something on Turn 6, that's extremely powerful. Of course it IS a four card combo which is not ideal at all.
You've basically got most of the thought process there - but waving into a 5 is very acceptable. It's worth exploring a lot of the options like Ghost Rider for sure, but with no discard outside of MODOK, it can often be a liability too.
I think Magneto is a reasonable craft, and can definitely shine at pulling away Cosmo is this deck too. Without him, I'd just be looking to explore one of the cards you suggested. Thanks :)
This deck wins like 20% of the time. It's horrible. The sheer number of times I just did not draw the combo or just countered by Cosmo was a truly outrageous number. Fun concept, but just not great in execution.
I disagree for now. Being a ramp deck first means Chavez is super acceptable. Hela is the backup plan, and being unable to draw her on six is fine I think.
@@mysticalbeing8943 makes you less likely to find the full combo by 6, and although you still get wins from the ramp win condition most of your cube equity comes from finding the combo so you want to maximise it. Also even pure ramp decks aren’t really playing Chavez.
@@mysticalbeing8943 nah Chavez makes you less likely to find your combo by turn 6, but more likely to find things prior to 6. So it helps you find ramp early on but it lowers your chance of finding your modok hela combo by turn 6

I think Black Cat is very replaceable. Losing Electro probably means you should look to play a different MODOK deck however.

Ouf, guess it's time to find invisible woman. Only 8 or so cards to get in pool 3! Nothing I could be replacing her with lol.

bad deck bad gameplay...simple
