I stressed for like 2-3 weeks over how to build this deck because I have all 4 of the other omnaths, thank you so much for the Pease of mind

After seeing this video, and conducting a trade where I got the showcase version, I decided to build this deck as a tribute and resurrection of 2 X spell commanders I had before, Lord Windgrace and Zaxara the Exemplary (Zaxara actually made it into the new deck, Windgrace did not). With the simple name, X3, I built the deck fairly closely to your specs, but I decided to change the mana base to go in a slightly different route: Gates. With the inclusion of many new gates in CLB I put in about 20 gates along with Maze’s End for a alternate win-con. The X spells drive the deck, but if I can play Reshape the Earth and drop in multiple gates and Maze’s End, it can be a game ender. Plus, trading a forest for Gond Gate with Crop Rotation essentially turns all my Gates into original duals with no downside.
Yes! Gates work extremely well in this deck, especially with Nine Fingers Keene who conveniently fits the three color trigger for Omnath
😳😳 I thought you were joking when you said you were gonna make a deck tech after this. Now I have to wait to build it haha. With all these new legends I'd love to see a Sisay Weatherlight Captain Deck tech
Made this list with a couple budget changes and ohhh boy this deck can consistently get some insane early wins, played it a couple times at my lgs and man no one expects it to ramp so ridiculously fast. First time i used it i casted debt to the deathless for 1940 for x because of doubling cube and seedborn muse
What were your changes? I absolutely love this deck but the version I built was one with the Dominaria United pre-con and I'm trying to figure out where I go next

I was about to ask about Urborg here to let all the fetch-adjacent lands tap for mana directly, right before you mentioned MH2 Yavimaya, a card I forgot existed. Side note: Did you know Urborg is up to $40? I sure didn't!
Chromatic Orrery, Timeless Lotus, and Muldrotha the gravetide are amazing in this deck. I too run a x mana and landfall deck with locus of all. Muldrotha is great for playing things out of your graveyard. Also just added Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur so we shall see how much fun that is lol
Chromatic Orrery removes the limitation of black mana in your pool since you can spend mana as any color.

I think winding canyons is a good mention. Could really come as a clutch so you recast Omnath before you lose the mana he built up

Look at my comment above. Like he said, the deck’s cost is primarily set in the mana base. My version only costs about $20 for the mana base and guaranteed you probably have most of the pieces in your common/uncommon boxes.

You forgot the new crucible of worlds; conduit of worlds. I like to spam Evolving wilds with it and cast graveyard things
What do you think about Cascading Cataracts or other relaticely efficient mana filters to make use of the floating black mana for other colors?

This deck seems like it’ll be fun to watch but not fun to play against. Also it seems way too complex for me to try and run
Admittedly it is kinda like watching a Rube Goldberg machine
I really like the fun big mana energy of this deck, but it feels like you missed the biggest and easiest to fix weakness of this deck: card advantage. With all the X spells, there should probably be a few "Draw X" spells in here. At least Blue sun's zenith, with its Omnath triggering mana cost.
I could be wrong, and please correct me if I am, but I think the idea is that Omnath gives you that extra card advantage just by drawing an extra card each turn for free
Adding all those mana fixing lands AND chromatic lantern is just overkill. I find using chromatic lantern and Prismatic omen are perfect for running mostly basic lands.
Honestly just asking this question for discussion but would running chromatic orrery so you're unspent mana from omnath you could just use it as any color

Hey leyline of the Guildpact is out now would that be a good card to add to the deck? If so what card should be taken out? Also there’s lands that tap for two different colors and requires you return a land from the field to you hand are those worth using instead of the trioms?
I still prefer my 4 colour Omnath deck, but this one does look very juicy

Honestly, I just want to build charm-tribal with Omnath. Use all the 3-color 3-mana Charms from magic's history and just cast them for free. Lol.
Is there any way to reduce the price even more than changing a lot of the lands. I'm really on a tight budget but I love the themes and ideas!!! Is there a way to keep the essence intact that costs much less?
What’s the ruling if you have omnath locus of all and omnath locus of mana on the field? Do you get to choose which mana becomes which?
Which lands would you swap out to add all ten original dual lands?
Rememember Kruphix? This is him but 5C (ok not really because it’s not indestructible but not far from it and certainly stronger). Some cards specifically ask for Black Mana, including one of those for the fun of it may be cool too

Dude I got my omnath locus of all setup ready and I’m amped to put it into practice lol. It is centered around popular win cons like hermit Druid, witherbloom chain, thassa’s oracle, with some X spell flavor. I’m working on a 5 cascade for this new omnath cuz why not? Lol

This is basically the omnath deck I've been looking for. Everybody else is building it wrong as far as I'm concerned. I just wish it was a little bit more budget friendly but I can definitely see why it's not

@@losttheory2761 Like thematically? I was thinking something along the lines of Horde of Notions. All colors in balance, death is a part of life, etc.
@marknelson2492 he probably got better after the phyrexians were banished. Hopefully, next time we see him we'll have a 5 color omnath in all his zendikari glory

Honestly I’m not a huge fan of this omnath to be perfectly honest like he’s good but I feel locus of creation is better due to more value he gives imo
