Do you mean you have the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 USB audio interface? If so, I would connect it just like I do in my video, come out the left and right output out of the V-amp3 and into the left and right inputs of the Scarlett 2i2.
Thanks for the vid! I do have 2 questions if you'd be able to help. Does this have a long delay (almost one second) like the V-amp 2 when channel switching? Also, will it work with the FCB 1010 floorboard? Thanks!
I would say it switch fast between patches in the same bank but depending on how the patch is configure, it can be quite noticeable when switch, especially if it is in the middle of playing. Yes, it should work fine with the FCB 1010.
These units unfortunately preceded the era of being able to send your audio to your PC digitally via USB. Just Midi I/O for Control and Status of User settings.
@@Tone-Quest Of course. However, adding 2 more stages of A/D and then D/A conversion is not the best for signal purity. I always try to keep it simple if I can. I have been using my POD XT via USB and then use IRs on PC. You just need to adjust headphone monitor settings in Gearbox so you only hear the Post-IR sound. Try it and cut the Audio IF out of the chain! 😊

Hell yeah there are some very usable and even good sounds from this unit. Good job, Chris! Subbed.
Thank you very much. Yeah, I was happy to purchase this unit and experiment with it. Tons of fun!
Thanks for the great breakdown of amps! 💥👍🎸
Totally, my pleasure. 😎
Whatever one may say, the vamp 2 and 3 is a great achievement, worth knowing and fully usable. It impresses me
Agree 100%

I have a focusrite scarlett 2i2 sound card. How would I have to connect the V-amp3 with the Focusrite? Thank you for this video.

@@Tone-Questwhat are the best cables when going out of the V-Amp? Will standard guitar cables work?
@@johnp82 Yes, I just use standard guitar cables.

@@Tone-Quest thanks for the info, I definitely appreciate it!
If you don't switch cabs it's fast.
Impressed i want one please 😊
is this a guitar Interface pedal ?????
@@97warlock if you are asking can the V-AMP3 be used like an USB audio interface to a computer, the answer is no.
@@Tone-Quest well, not to a computer, but into a tascam 8 track recorder dp008 it has 1/4,rca,xlr inputs
@@97warlock Gotcha, it would be perfect for recording to something like the Tascam DP008 because the V-AMP 3 has 1/4” left and right outputs.

Sad but true but not too big of an issue with so many USB Audio interfaces on the market.

@@dallasbiggz7007 Solid point about the multiple A/D & D/A conversions happening. 👍🏻 Simple is better
