Craig, I FUCKING love this video! I own that Megadeth album & the sound quality does blow. Dave is an amazing BASS player indeed. NOW on to the Man Les Claypool. I’ve seen Primus LIVE also and this is when he won me over as I said to my cousin at the show: “I’m watching the best BASS player that I have ever seen LIVE!” He makes his playing look effortless. As quirky as they come, Les gets a spot on my All Star team stage every day! Geezer is a beast, I saw them on that same tour. He was amazing! I was young when Sabbath was in their heyday. So I’m biased to my timeframe. He is definitely Top Shelf though! Great video buddy!
I've always loved Geezer and being able to finally see him play was one of those moments I'll never forget, as for Les you are correct seeing him live is like watching a virtuoso, he doesn't think about it at all it's like it's his nature, amazing player.
My favorite bass player is Jack Bruce, but you’ve now introduced me to some other heavy hitters Craig!
Hey Craig! nice t-shirt! Big difference between fav and greatest. My fav is Chris Squire, but I think Tony Levin is the greatest. Cheers!
Yes, I received a message earlier this week that inspired me to wear it.😉
Salut Craig. Pete Way,Lemmy,Michael Anthony,Jimmy Bain and Phil Lynott would be on my list.
I can agree with all of those, I'm listening to Van Halen right now and I definitely could have put Michael on this list
