    I've pulled 3 or 4 of these out of 753, 763, 773, and an S150. Engines can be pulled without removing any of the hydraulic pumps or housing that mates the engine to the pumps. Remove the flywheel and pull the bolts behind it. The shop manual will tell you to do it the way this guy is, but its a way worse ass ache. No draining hydraulic oil, disconnecting linkages, just pull the affected part, the engine.

    Is there any special procedure to bleed air out of the drive pump?

    This is a great video. Thanks so much. It will really help me when I pull my 773 F engine. I been wonder how difficult, doesn’t seem to bad.

      The 773 will be very similar if not identical. Just go slow when pulling the engine to ensure you don't pull or break wires

      The valve cover is only 3 castle nuts. No bolts.

    Aye man i was told by a guy to leave the pump in the bobcat? What are your thoughts?

      Sorry late response. I missed this. On these machines they have to come out in one piece. Engine and pumps are bottled to a common plate that in my opinion would be more trouble to deal with in the machine. Atleast that is how I've always done it. The early 90s models where the engine is installed facing front to make on the machine, those can be taken out engine only.😮

      @@drev5001 i actually just got done installing the motor. Yeah i believe it can be done but my opinion the struggle to get at those bolts would be a nightmare. Thanks for your response

    The guy that does how I did it puts a hydraulic hose on the auxiliary hydraulics coupler runs the machine to empty the hydraulic fluid

    Good morning Even I have the same motor in my 763C series . In order for me to get more gpm do I change the hydraulic motor or the engine itself.

    • @drev5001
      @drev5001  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Do you need more hydraulic GPM? That would be done by your hydraulic pump. I'm not sure if Bobcat made a high flow model of the C series 763, but they did make one for the F and G series machines. There is potential for the hydraulic pump from one of those machines that could fit on yours, but I'm not positive. You would also have to add a lot of lines to allow for the higher flow as well as valve body changes.
      Long story short, there would be a lot of time/money involved to make the machine flow more fluid. It would make better sense to buy a machine with higher flow.

      @emmanueldiaz835 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ok, I definitely appreciate the input, because I was racking my brain. Than I came across your videos and it shows. That you know what you are doing and talking about.. what would you recommend for a mulching attachment that requires 35-45 gpm.

    • @emmanueldiaz835
      @emmanueldiaz835 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I bought an attachment not knowing anything but know that the mulcher can take down a 5-8" tree but needs a high flow skid steer to to so. Angry years of experience would it be easier to get rid of the the bobcat I get a schedule with or get rid of the mulcher

    • @emmanueldiaz835
      @emmanueldiaz835 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      But if I did want to go higher with the gallons per minute I would need a bigger hydraulic pump plus the hydraulic release line for the radiator that cools the mulcher down .( The third hydraulic line) that drains back to the tank/ resivor

    • @drev5001
      @drev5001  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @emmanueldiaz835 you would need a lot more than that and again, price/labor out weights the reward. What brand of mulcher head? A mulcher head with the flow rates you described are usually VERY heavy and are ran by machines with double the horsepower the 763 has. You machine might lift the implement but the machine would be extremely stressed and you're risking damage.
      At the end if the day, I suggest selling the machine and getting a machine better suited for that attachment.
