    I LOVE the beat buddy sound….im almost ready to pull the trigger and buy the maestro and was wondering if when selecting parts you can set it up to not trigger the transitions (fills)…I find that most fills are too much for my solo gigs and I don’t use them when switching between parts.

    What is the point of offering priority shipping if it takes more than three days to get a tracking number for the order (package and ship the product)?

    Will it send MIDI over to BlueTooth to Band Helper on my iPad? Most BlueTooth MIDI pedals require an iOS app to sync with the MIDI pedal to make them work with the Band Helper app. Does the MIDI Maestro app have this functionality? Thanks.

      @SingularSoundOfficial  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey there,
      Yes, this is possible to do with the MIDI Maestro app,
      You would just set up the commands you need to be sent by MIDI Maestro in a custom mode on the MIDI Maestro app. The app itself is not a controller app, you would write the mode to the MIDI Maestro.
      On the app, after creating the command and adding it to a button, you would set the command to be sent to the Bluetooth output by enabling the BLE icon next to that command
      Then, you would connect Bandhelper to the MIDI Maestro while the MIDI Maestro is in pairing mode (hold Bluetooth button on the back for 3 seconds). You would connect directly from the app, in the app menu there is likely a Bluetooth pairing interface.

  • @TimsCabana

    Hi, in custom mode... is it possible to have a button send more than one command with a single push? Like say you want to sent out 4 different commands at the same time?

    • @SingularSoundOfficial
      @SingularSoundOfficial  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, in custom mode on the MIDI Maestro, it is possible to have a button send more than one command with a single push. Each button on the MIDI Maestro can have up to 8 different MIDI commands per button action.

    Joe, I’m putting these 3 pedals on a pedal board. How should I arrange them on the pedal board, keeping in mind the power button on the side of the Aeros Looper? I also have an expression pedal and the extension pedal.
    This video was very helpful as I’m brand new to these pedals. Thank you!!!

    • @SingularSoundOfficial
      @SingularSoundOfficial  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey there, It is hard for us to answer since there are many different ways to arrange your pedals depending on which pedals you have, your board size, functionality, etc. But you can ask the community on our forum what their arrangements are! forum.singularsound.com

    • @SingularSoundOfficial
      @SingularSoundOfficial  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey there, it's best to use Next Part and Previous Part commands for songs with that many parts, if you have no more than 6 parts you can reuse the ideas we had in the Aeros Default mode, create a page, using the MIDI Maestro app, with all 6 part commands but every button on that page has to redirect to another page when pressed.

    Can you use the midi majestic with an expression pedal? If so, what will be able to control with the expression pedal?

    • @SingularSoundOfficial
      @SingularSoundOfficial  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can use an expression pedal to easily control the value of a MIDI command. (With a default BeatBuddy preset, the Expression pedal controls the tempo on your BeatBuddy.) However, when using a new expression pedal for the first time, you must calibrate it. Press the Mode button on the MIDI Maestro and then select Calibrate Exp Pedal, and follow instructions.

    Thanks.

    • @SingularSoundOfficial
      @SingularSoundOfficial  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey there, as long as the looper has a 5-pin MIDI IN port, yep! You will just need to create your own MIDI mode using our MIDI Maestro app.

  • @flbiker57
    @flbiker57 ปีที่แล้ว

    OK, so when you take the extension pedal away from the Beat Buddy and plug it into the Maestro you lose the accent (Crash) button. Is there a way of getting it back or do you just need a second footswitch for the Beat Buddy as well? Edit: I just realized you also lose "pause".

    • @SingularSoundOfficial
      @SingularSoundOfficial  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey there, when you plug the Footswitch+ into the MIDI Maestro, the functions on the Footswitch+ are now to change pages on the MIDI Maestro. You can still use a crash symbol but on the MIDI Maestro by either going to the accent hits in the BeatBuddy mode, or creating a mode yourself using the MIDI Maestro app that contains an accent hit command.

    Great tutorial Joe. Just setup my Midi Maestro today along with my Beat Buddy. I love it so far. One question. I purchased the premium library bundles and some of them actually have more than 5 parts. Do I just use the Maestro to skip to 5, then go to the BeatBuddy pedal to go through the rest one at a time? Or is there a shortcut for that?
    Thanks Joe.

    • @edgarcia7395
      @edgarcia7395 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, that's what you would normally have to do. Remember however, that the MIDI Maestro is customizable using the Singular Sound app. You could make custom pages that have more song parts. The MIDI command to transition to a different part is CC 113, and the value would be the number of the part that you want to transition to.

    A great tutorial, but it just seems to replicate all of same functions of the main pedal itself, plus it's bigger and heavier. I can already do the first 5 minutes of the video functions hands-free with the pedal itself. Mind you, I don't have an Aeros looper. I use an Infinity, and it synchs perfectly.

    Unfortunately it sounds like the midi buttons are just as loud as on the Aeros loop studio. There isn't much reason to buy this in that case. Nothing like having a quiet part of a live looped song with a really harsh "KERKLUNK" ringing through the room.

      @@SingularSoundOfficial I would be very tempted to buy a gold MIDI Maestro. It would be amazing to control my loop studio and eventually beat buddy all in one foot panel. Painfully thorough explanation of the very simple things and complete absence of others.
    1) can you hold down the scroll buttons? If you have premium card with 100 folders, do you have to really stomp the switch 99 times
    2) fills from the midi maestro? No…..
    3) before the video I did not know the purpose or value of expression pedal and I still don’t…really just the 8th way to change tempo in the middle of a song?..
    4) if you’re trying to show how the best buddy footswitch still has value , you did not. Still just a pause button, that’s all
    Honestly it’s just the 1st question. If I have to keep my best buddy on the ground for fills, I’ll still have to bend over to select the songs because I’m not stepping on a switch 89 times
