As always another great review and thanks again for all your hard work bringing solid reviews that are simple yet well explained.
Building a system for a friend at the moment so that's given me something else to consider. 😁

I can attest, that the setup definitely had old timers in mind. Pluging in a lamp would requre more knowledge than the mini does. Totally shocked me at how easy it was.

they have to make an all-digital version, most of us use an external DAC and don't care about the analog outputs.

They have to consider people who have older amplification or no external dac..
I know many people using internal blue sound dac.
      Thanks for watching 👍

That is what the Pulse and Pulsar models are for. The mini is geared as a enrtry level product. Whereas the Pulse and Pulsar models are for the guys and gals with a totl dac.

If you get the opportunity, it would be good to get your thoughts on how the performance as a digital transport compares to the Bluesound Node.

      Good idea

It’s ridiculous that this wasn’t the whole point of the video.

I use an Argon Solo. Doesn't need an app, can be used with Chromecast, Apple Play, or a Roon endpoint (and Bubble UPnP but they don't officially support it).

Can you emphasis your comment in term of Sound quality from BLUESOUND NODE DIGITAL OUT TO innuos pulse mini? Thank you for answer

How does sound quality of Innuos Pulse Mini compare to Bluesound Node when both onboard Dacs are used through same speakers please. Also how do you think sound quality of Innuos PM would compare to Cambridge CXN using onboard Dacs. Thanks in advance.

I can’t say with regards to the Cambridge but the Innuos sounded as good, if not better than the blue sound’s internal DAC

@@dittonworks Ok thanks. Sorry I have just realised you listened to the Innuos at Signals so probably have not been able to do a direct comparison to the Bluesound as you would have been able to do in your own home.

    • @dittonworks
      @dittonworks  ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@Chris-nd5se true but signals hold stock of the blue sound too.
I think it’s better in my opinion but I still really like my blue sound. Great way of getting into streaming.

@@dittonworks I was considering the blue sound but think I'm going to buy the Innuos .
I'm hoping the slightly higher frequency's will work better with my Prima Luna integrated amp.
      Any thoughts?

It would of been funny to say, there were a couple of drawbacks and one of them was, it was a real bitch to get out of the box...

      Haha 😂
      It totally is isn’t it.,

What a waste. You never mentioned whether there was a sound quality difference between the Innuos and the Node as just a streamer. I guess your lack of mentioning this tells all. There wasn’t much of a difference between the two for almost double the price.

The Innous was better once the level of equipment was raised.
Thus a better bet if your budget could stretch a bit further.
