Dorset Button Angel Tutorial

Learn to make our popular Dorset button angel. You will need a 35mm closed ring; 3m 4 ply sock yarn or 5 weight cotton perle; sharp and blunt large eyed needles; optional button bobbin from fleece loved products; 8mm bead with a large central hole; 8mm closed ring.

Quick ? Why isn't the "inner ridge" from the cast-on used instead of rewrapping around the outside of the piece which distorts the "perfection" of the exterior of the piece? Thank you.

The wraps around the ring are stronger than stitching through the inner ridge. You're welcome to make them however you want to. This is the way I designed my angel. Hope that helps.
