Atomsk Reborn™ Do you think everything on the internet is real my man? For fuck's sake, some people have to take everything literally, search up sarcasm dude.
I'm not sure if I did this right, but I heaved the ball at my opponent's face like I was throwing a baseball, and I broke his nose. Hope I did it right. Thanks Professor!
I don't think it's in the same category as crossing someone or dunking on someone coz those moves take skill and will probably lead to a point but this is jus throwing a ball at someone's head
Oni Master if you cannot cross someone over it's ok, but if you explode someone's head throwing a ball you are in trouble buddy. either way, i would beat the shit out of anyone who tried doing this to me.
Glo o63 breezy fat dudes can do alot of shit. you serious? I know big fat dudes who can shoot, got handles and are really quick on their feet.....having a really quick first step. they just don't got the long range speed or stamina.
I think it's generally disrespectful, but the intensity or significance of it depends on your underlying motives as well as the particular circumstances when playing ball. It's not comparable to crossing someone up, because that's just a byproduct of trying to successfully get by your defender. Dunking is a more similar, and valid equivalent to bouncing the ball off a head, because they are both relatively superficial moves with no actual value as they pertain to trying to score a basket, and are purely for show. The difference between the two being that dunking, unlike bouncing the ball off of a head, on aggregate, is not performed at the expense of the opposing player, whereas the "off the heezy" move, although not necessarily physically painful, does typically have adverse socio-psychological implications, given that many play the game with a serious attitude. This is not irrational, nor should it surprise anybody that understands the inherent competitive nature of athletics. I guess at the end of the day, sports are, both in essence and in practice, forms of entertainment. This move, along with dunking, is just a tangible extension of that intention to please and amuse both ourselves and others. So long as everyone remains aware of and plays by this premise, and we try to not be negligent or careless and cause either physical or psychological harm(roasting, harrassing) to others, then good, clean fun can be had with this move.
i think this move is sort of like a message to who's defending you 'why you chillin with your hands down? step you're defence up and or are you scared im gonna cross you?' i mostly do it when the defenders seem to slack on defence.
have never done this move but have been on the receiving end of the move plenty of times and have had good and bad experiences. and older experienced guy did this to me and it didnt hurt it just shocked me cause i had never seen it before. the next few times happened in high school games and the guy hit my eye and i had to be benched cause i couldnt see straight for the rest of the game, and another time a guy tried to do it, hit my nose, and got a bloody nose.(on the bright side the guy got benched for the rest of the game and i went back after 1 quarter) honestly i only have problems with people who think they have the skills to do it but really don't
I totally understand it being a showtime move. A lot of people probably don't like it because the move doesn't really show much skill but you still get embarrassed by it. When you cross someone over, you had the skill to do it and the same with dunking on someone, so there was an actual reason to be embarrassed. Just my personal opinion.
Breaking someone's ankles gets you open, dunking on someone gets you 2 points, throwing it off of a strangers head doesn't do anything and gets you beat up lol.
Place the ball down, visualize the move, run simulations in your head, and once you think youre ready to put it into practice,go home cuz youre lying to yourself. 👍
Great explanation and video on this move. Not necessarily the best advice for the millions of 12 yr olds that will go out there and try to slam the ball on their friends face. This is a REALLY advanced move. If you can't first swap between a power dribble and a soft tap dribble close to the ground. Don't even try to attempt this on someone.
I see...but making someone fall is part of the game, that is having a purpose of getting past someone, but purposely bouncing it isn't benefiting u in basketball so there is a difference in purpose
intentially pushing someone down would be the same as intentially throwing the ball off of their face. making them fall from a crossover is their own fault not yours. huge difference
That last off the heezy was the funniest. That hand point is a good technique to distract the defender just enough to freeze him so you can hit that forehead. Now on the other hand heezing somebody when you know you got a bad aim may bust somebody nose. So be careful.
If somebody does this to me and I let it slide first time. Couple plays later bro does it again then I punch him am I wrong ?🤔 FYI (this jus happened at my local courts and he said it’s just basketball but I find it disrespectful)
This happened to me once and I ended up just attacking him physically. I forgot we were playing a game, I just thought he hit me. So I hit him back. Then everyone was like..yo, relax! And I found my head again. But for a second I had lost my cool and it wasnt about basketball anymore. You threw something at me, Im throwing something back. That shit hurt too. I would say don't do this in real life. I started swinging on a person because he did this to me. This isn't basketball.
Lmao you soft af. You knew damn well he threw the ball at ya head and didn't hit you with no fist. You can see it happening. You just soft and can't play good D so you start a fight. Real defender would have caught it or simply heezied the dude back. Not started punching ppl
I had this done to me in the and 1 days.. it was funny and never seen befor at that time in the hood along with all the other moves and dudes trying to grow corn rows..
Hey prof can you do a "what rly happened" when you and Hot Sauce went at it at an outdoor court. Im pretty sure it was an open run when you first were getting discovered by And1 and just explain anything behind the scenes we the viewers might have not seen leading up to that.
I tried it on my older 6' 2" 16 year old cousin at a family party, he did not appreciate it. I was like 5'6" and 11 or 12 years old when I tried it on him. He beat the ever loving chit outta me for trying it on him hahaha. You need a warning label for this move, "do not use this move against people bigger and stronger than you" hahaha. Got my ace beat when I was a youngin because of this move haha. Great video, I wish I saw this back in 2002 haha.
When the Pharmacist use to throw the ball over his back like a " Frow Fake " and turn it into an " Off the Heazy " move 😏 man I miss the whole And 1 roster 😩
I'll do this to a friend in a heartbeat, as for a stranger I just met on the court.....I don't wanna get beat up
Luigi - lol
Luigi - me too 😂
I read that in the Luigi voice
Luigi - lol

Why does The Professor always breathe like he's blowing birthday candles?
Anoop Bhaskar That's the way you making some moves... that's why professor never miss some moves when he always breathing... 😂
Anoop Bhaskar he's blowing the ball to keep it in his handle range
it's like when a fighter does that.. regulates breathing so you have enough energy 4 explosion when you want 2 use it
Professor can prolly dribble a bowling ball

I always did Off the Heezy, I was a pro at using that move on the court. Biggie Littles was good in handling.
I don't think it's in the same category as crossing someone or dunking on someone coz those moves take skill and will probably lead to a point but this is jus throwing a ball at someone's head
Oni Master no
Sammer Elzubaidi ur right its not in the same category a fat guy can do this move

Sammer Elzubaidi YES !
This combo is also not disrespectful to old heads: Behind the back, off the Heezy, kick to the Neezy (nuts), atomic Wheezy (wedgie), lay-up.
My nizzy
Prof: hey bro I’m making a off the heezy video today. Need your help.
Friend: u goin to throw the ball at my face
Prof: yea

When you think about it, it's just a pass off the dribble to the defender... It's just a reminder to keep their hands up.👍🏻
SuperSoldier IV Nigga no one is keeping their hands as high as their forhead goofy
deadass boi dude you just wrote a whole essay on how this move is disrespectful and shit lol 😂😂 A+

i think this move is sort of like a message to who's defending you 'why you chillin with your hands down? step you're defence up and or are you scared im gonna cross you?' i mostly do it when the defenders seem to slack on defence.

Ankle breaker crossover is respected, off the head is clowning on someone. the soft touch ones do look super smooth

I see...but making someone fall is part of the game, that is having a purpose of getting past someone, but purposely bouncing it isn't benefiting u in basketball so there is a difference in purpose
Brandman1297 that's why he called it a showtime move
Well it does make the other person hesitate super hard. Maybe even throw off their confidence. Which matters in a game
If the defender any sense of ball awareness they could catch the ball
Best tutorials on the internet.
Thanks Professor 👨🏫

I can only imagine myself being the guy helping the Professor film and having to do repeated takes of getting the ball bounced off my head lmao
@professor can u do a tutorial on how to bounce the ball between defenders legs please
That last off the heezy was the funniest. That hand point is a good technique to distract the defender just enough to freeze him so you can hit that forehead. Now on the other hand heezing somebody when you know you got a bad aim may bust somebody nose. So be careful.

when he said “bash it against their head” i died idk why 😂😂 i pictured someone jus throwing it hard asab lmaoo
This is why I ball with my glasses on... No one has the audacity to hit a guy in the face when he's wearing glasses lmaooo
@professorlive i wish you should teach us how to shoot perfectly...
What does it mean if the ball hit my head ?!?
The first time I tried this, he just grabbed the ball and walked away to the goal. I was astonished.
I love your videos bro I'm striving to be a better basketball player because of you

I am french, I discover your channel by chance and I love your dribble😂😂. sorry for the fault
i knocked off my friends glasses. but he's blind as a bat without them, so i still passed him.
Professorlive you should do the throwing your shoulders move, when you shake your shoulders and it catch the defender off guard
amazing. I want a video in which you teach for best shooting range

but still u got a good point and good sportsmanship

yo nice moves and thanks
If somebody breaks my ankles, that's no big deal.
If somebody hits me in the head with the ball on purpose, he's about to catch some hay-makers.
that cough @38 seconds tho😂😂
why is the defender wearing a hat, we know he got some cushion under there lol.

a little confused,is that 3 steps at 3:45?
the defender in the tutorial shows great restraint
Can u do some tutorials that are legal moves that coaches would be fine with

Make a video of throwing at the D..!!

You know you're early when you can only view in 360p.
This move is fun to do but sometimes when they move I accidentally hit his eye or nose
Bro i might go to the park today
@Professor Live im seeing clips of kids doing this now but basically throwing at their head 😂
one of my favorite moves to do
If u do this in the nba you’ll get 4 techs thrown out have to stay 100 feet away from any nba player and be indefinitely suspended

Yo at the end the ref was laughing 😂
