Wow in the UK, we’re only given 6 free pods! 😮 I love my Henry Quick. If you put it in extra power mode on carpet it’s EXTREMELY powerful and agitates extremely well. Did you not try this? It was pulling my carpet up!
I've been trying to find a bagged cordless vacuum for light workshop cleanup for years. This looks very interesting. Most vacuums specifically advise against sucking up drywall dust. Since this has a bag would I be able to use this for occasional drywall dust along with sawdust from wood and other work shop debris? I'm sick of having to lug out my huge corded festool dust extractors every time I need to clean up a small mess.
I’d say the pods hold ALOT more than equivalent bagless. When they are full they are packed solid so don’t let that be a put off (red light indicates when full btw). Downsides - it’s not a made in the UK like the rest of the range and the power head isn’t up to the standards of others but the rest is good. Do you not get scent pods for yours over there under the cover on the back?
Fabulous insight about the pods Gary! They did say they would soon be making them in the UK with the rest of the products. U.S.A. models do not come with scent pods but we have plenty of other solutions.
I live in Charleston South Carolina and I’m a vacuum collector and I don’t have any vacuum stores near me that sell this vacuum and I have a regular Henry xtra where can I go to get vacuum parts
Interesting. I was looking at the Henry canister units before I got my Simplicity upright from you. I was thinking a bagged canister would be right for me, but Henry is the only one I found and you can't get them in the US (They are popular in the UK). The canister vacs in the US come in limited two flavors: 1) $300 pieces of junk that won't last a year and 2) Imported ones that are far better but are around $700 to $1000 or something. Unfortunately, I don't think we will ever see the UK Henry's come here. Yeah, you don't need the instructions Kimberly, you're The Vacuum Whisperer! LOL!
The UK plug must come with it because in Malaysia and the Middle East they sell Numatic vacs and they use UK sockets. That package is definitely made for non UK/EU distribution.
Hi Kimberly, is the Henry bag as good of filtration as the Miele HX2? It doesn't say anything about hepa filtration. Trying to decide between the Miele or the Henry. Thanks!
Let me find out straight from the manufacturer and get back to you. But for now…they are Multi-layer filtration and Dust-Lock Seal trap dirt and debris inside the pod for one-click, dust-free emptying. The Miele HEPA filter only helps during the use of the vacuum, as soon as you empty it you could expose yourself to that dust and dirt. The nice think about the Henry bags is you won’t be exposed to that ever. It’s so much cleaner. But during use I felt like the filtration was the same. But I will check to see if they have actually numbers or a HEPA rating.
This was the response I received: The Henry Quick is not hepa filtration, it is standard filtration like out Henry Vacuums. More information is on our website henryforhome.com/ With that said, it just means they never had their filtration tested to certify it HEPA. I trust any bagged vacuum capturing and keeping diet better than a bagless. When I used both, I found that neither emit noticeable dust from their exhaust during use. The biggest differences is the Henry is cleaner and healthier to empty. Hope this helps.
Great review Kimberly. 2 things that would stop me from buying the Henry Quick: 1. Cordless! Nope, not doing it! We have all seen what happens to a Dyson battery after 2 or 3 years....need I say more? It would be nice to see Henry introduce a "battery pack" with a cord attached that converts the vacuum to a corded model for people that prefer a corded stick vacuum. I am surprised, considering Numatic is a commercial company and there is a commercial version of the Henry Quick, that they didn't think of that. 2. No Duo Clean powerhead like Shark and (recently) Hoover have that have the traditional bristle brushroll and fluffy brushroll in the front. I have a Shark Rocket HV381 that I presently use in my home....perfect use case as it is a upper level apartment with stairs, hard floors, mats and area rugs. Yes, it has OK suction....comparable to a Dyson V10 on it's "medium" power setting, I know because I was considering upgrading to a Dyson V10 and decided not to....and I just feel that the hard floors wouldn't be nearly as clean if it just had a bristle brushroll that you shut off for hard floors like the Henry Quick. I feel that a fluffy head like Dyson has or a Duo Clean powerhead like Shark and Hoover offer is a MUST for these stick vacuums if you want to feel satisfied with it's bare floor cleaning performance. IF Henry Quick gets those features, I would consider upgrading, but for now I will have to live with my Shark.
Very informative. When they make a couple of improvements such as a roller that is for hard floors and a bit larger I will buy.
Glad it was helpful!

And 1 pound is 1.26 dollars so there’s that too. 😆
When they was first released they were giving 26 pods in the UK 🇬🇧 as I had 26 with mine when I bought it 😀

I think the Henry would do fine. The “pods” aka bags are thick HEPA cloth material so it doesn’t get as easily clogged by fine dirt.
Great review, thanks so much!!

I'd like to see strong card around the top of the pods rather than plastic which will still be with us in 1,000 years.
Good suggestion!

Ha ha ha! Thank you Eric!
I live in the UK and only got the UK charger, not that I’m too fussed as no one is going to take their vaccum cleaner on vacation 😂

I know it’s so silly they provide all the chargers.

@VacMDBoca It does...thanks so much!
The bags in Henry vacuum machines are HEPA
Nice video. Animals got crazy at the end 🤣
Thanks for watching to the end!!!
As another dealer did you ship this over or did you get it from one of the distributors?
We got these from the USA distributor. I don’t think they were available directly from Nacecare
Would you say the build quality meets or exceeds Miele triflex?
Yes absolutely. I think “meets” would be super accurate. In some ways it exceeds. I feel like the actual body material is most superior.
Gtech pro and halo are also bagged
Did not know this!
@ new beldray cordless is also bagged

Great video everything proven bagged vacuum cleaners are more healthy no matter what
Exactly! Thank you so much!
Definitely no bags on this size unit.
