We work extremely hard to serve you guys the highest quality story reading content. Each video takes a lot of effort when it comes to thinking of topics, ideation, editing, voice-acting, recording, etc. All the content in these videos are owned by us!
Our Work Process:
1. Come up with questions, research, script, come up with opinions/commentary, polish until ready for recording.
2. Record voice acting the stories/questions, sharing thoughts and opinions and performing it in a creative and transformative fashion for viewers to enjoy.
3. Record gameplay until there is enough interesting footage to use for the background
4. Throw the gameplay in the editing software and then begin typing up the captions, cutting/trimming the voice acting, adding SFX, color correction, removing/adding clips, etc.
5. Final review of the video, if video is not up to the quality desired for this channel. Either go back into the editing software, re-record some lines, change opinions/commentaries.
Undersparked. Please do a future 2hr long video on Inmates seeing the craziest shit that they seen in prison.
Oh yesss, that would be so good!
they already did that
Craziest shits do not happen in prisons. You aren't in movies. Try cleaning out shit from the walls, ceiling or even worse, guts. Yeah, those aren't seen mainly in prisons. Take a wild guess where those are seen. Unless you are in a concentration camp.
@@AndreeaCe 'Jews, what are the most insane things YOU'VE seen in a concentration camp?' would be a fire video.
I have such a similar story to one of these, I still remember sitting in the bathtub trying to prove to my mom that nothing rymes with “truck” when I evidently said the word, she said “be careful what you say” and because I was just saying things that weren’t real words, I was so confused.
A lot of these stories, despite the fact the parents didn’t teach what they originally intended, still teach damn good lessons
Hey, Undersparked! Just wanted to let you know, you guys are one of the only channel I like to watch for reddit story at this point! No to little unnecessary asides, no risque anime thumbs, and really nice sounding narrators! You guys help me reliably get to sleep, so thank you!!
I learned to drive by watching my mom, who drove very fast and had a racetrack driving certification she got from the local raceway because she took a class on racing. When I was taking official driving lessons, I ran a yellow light instead of stopping and my teacher flipped out. He angrily asked why I had done that. To my knowledge, it wasn't illegal to speed through a yellow light instead of stopping, so I told him my mom did it all the time. He made eye contact with me and said, "Do not drive like that." My mom got an earful from him too.
As a kid I was told not to curse. This was a big rule for us, so instead I replaced every curse with pizza. I looked like an insane kid to my teachers 😂
as a preschool teacher i have seen a lot of things parents do, one things we did was have a thinking chair when the kids were acting up they would go to the thinking chair for as many minutes as there age but no more than 5, then they would come back and talk to us about what they did and why they did it.
People complaining about the video length but honestly it’s good background noise
It’s good for my drive to work I drive about an hr
One of those stories reminded me of, when I was younger, when my siblings were "rough housing" my parents would say "if you don't stop rough housing you can go outside" or something similar. The first time they said that, we interpreted it as them telling us to go outside, it was really cold that and me and my brother were huddling by the dryers exhaust because we were cold. When my dad realized that we actually went outside he came out and was just like, what are you doing... Get inside...
40:53 to stop my brother from sucking his thumb, my parents coated his wet thumb with hot pepper. As per this thread theme, it didn't work. He licked his thumb, until the powder disappeared, and continued sucking his thumb. hot sauces and various spicy rubs, nothing worked. Sorry for no, "what happened next..." i assume he soon stopped when they stopped giving him flavor enhancers and ignored his thumb sucking
BTW: - - Same brother who refused to eat tomatoes... wouldn't try for any inducement.
HIS FAVORITE FOOD? Ketchup, he'd pour it on everything. (THIS ONE, i do have a "what next")
so one day he's at the eating table (maybe at sleep over) for what ever reason he's studying the Ketchup bottle. he asks "WHY ARE TOMATOES PICTURED ON BOTTLE"?
no issue about eating tomatoes ever again.
The 'if you don't eat this you'll have it for breakfast' story is horrible, how dare the parents punish the kid for something they didn't even choose on the first place?? (As neurodivergent picky eater I will fight for this every time I hear those stories, lol)
I am like you. You are like me.
Sometimes I like good but can't bare to eat it because of the texture, I'm not sure if it's just normal or my autism though.
I have a super super picky eater due to sensory issues. Dad and I eat everything so at first it was weird, but I would never force her to eat something, I will offer it and if she tries it yay! And if she doesn’t it’s okay, I would worry more for my child to eat something even if it’s ramen noodles, or a corn dog, as long as my child ate I was good. These types of punishments can create eating disorders.
shut up, you can't eat chicken nuggets for 3 meals a day
I get that I need to eat SOMETHING. but if they are gagging after two days, I'd listen. I don't think kids have THAT much patience.
Yes. Make sure they eat SOMETHING... But my parents always made me TRY IT ONCE, then never touched it again for a while, before checking my taste buds again.
At home we had a simple rule with dinner that worked well. There is no bargaining over dinner. you have what's for dinner, or you have the bread we have, with nothing. I chose the bread a few times, but it got my brother to at least try a bunch of meals he didn't want to, and loves to this day
❤i love thus guys voice great narration i could happy sleep after up all night much better than a robotic voice from before but I do miss that robotic. Voice guy
Thon lol ❤
I appreciate that very much!
I went to a very safe school as a kid, but one time, (I was in 6th grade and just started middle school, it was like december or smthg) and I have spina bifida, so I have to wear leg braces. And one day during PE one of the "Rebellious" older kids wasn't paying attention to where they were going and bumped into me. I scraped their knee with my brace and I felt so bad. He and his friends did not take the apology as legitimate, however, and complained to the PE teachers. I could've gotten in trouble, but fortunately, I was a teacher's pet and they knew I wouldn't do something like that. After that, the older kid proceeded to harass me over the next few days, sending me angry emails and grabbing me by the chest in the locker room. I have taught myself how to deflect anger, and simply ignored him. He got so mad one time that he threatened to punch me and got into an appropriate stance. But I had timed my encounter on purpose so that if he did punch me, he would do it in front of all 3 PE teachers. They caught him before he could do anything to me and almost got in trouble, but he dropped me when he saw them coming. He left me alone after that.
Once my mother thought it was a good idea to do that “comparison thing” parents like to do when they want their kids to behave.
She pointed to a little girl and said “why can you be like that little girl? See she’s behaving so nice and not causing any problems. Look at her holding her moms hand, she’s even dressed nicely too”
My response was “she’s got the back of her dress stuck in her diaper!!”
I asked permission to go notify the girls mom so neither of them would be embarrassed.
(also she scratched her but not long after… like full arm down the back digging😂 I think that’s how the dress might’ve got like that. And yes I did point that out to my mom as well. My mom just rolled her eyes and huffed)
Yeah… don’t compare your kids to other people’s kids
I starved myself as a kid. My parents had the rule that if I didn't like what we were having, I wouldn't get dinner. Unfortunately for them, I was stubborn enough that I would choose to not eat. For days on end I would not have dinner because I didn't like what was being served. I was a tiny, skinny kid but I was not underweight so they didn't think anything of it. The articles online all told my parents that I would eventually get hungry and eat. Spoiler alert: I didn't. I got hungry, but I didn't eat. Eventually my parents were concerned about how short I was and went to a specialist who told them I was falling off the growth charts and they had to let me eat whatever I wanted whenever I wanted because I was almost too old to grow anymore. I am still a picky eater and y parents are now concerned about my weight the other way, but I am now 5'2 or 5'3 and I get to eat my own meal every night. Apparently I have ARFID (Avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder) btw, so if your kid is like me they might too. I also still throw tantrums sometimes at 16 because I tend to get what I want when I do. I know it;'s immature, but I get what I want in the end. I tend to mock them about these things too, but they don't change their behavior. Ultimately what I have learned is that if I protest long and loud enough I will get my way.
When my kids were little, I would deliberately talk over the heads by using "big words" while in conversations with other adults, for example, the word cogitate, instead of think. My friends may not have understood but my kids sure did. My older daughter, while in second grade actually quoted Shakespeare. " O sharper than a serpent's tooth to have a thankless child."
25:09 can I have a kitty?😂
I have an older brother (born in 1994) and when I was 6 months old (I’m born in 1996) my brother slapped me and threw a toy in my face. Well my mum picked up my brother and gave him a little slap on his bottom. Well, it left a little mark so my mum called his daycare stating he wasn’t feeling well and that that is why he wouldn’t be going to daycare that day… Well my mum felt terrible and took him out for ice cream and bought him a new toy- basically spoilt him. Well, that taught him that hitting baby me was an okay thing to do… 😂😭
appreciate the effort put into these video's

My dad had this same "hope" of me getting a tooth ache so i'd learn to brush my teeth. Hasn't worked, because aside from one painless chip, my teeth are just indestructible for some reason.
20:08 this story is just too funny 😂😂
15:05 Yeah, I guess so.
(Also, with the smoking ones, I was just like "WHY WOULD YA DO THAT!?!?" Idk, it just seemed bound to backfire, lmao.)
Una vez intenté enseñar a mis hijos la importancia de compartir, pero terminó en una gran pelea porque todos querían 'compartir' el mismo juguete al mismo tiempo. ¡Lección aprendida para mí también! 😅
Autism is something, most of us are super smart b t dsyfunctional in iother ways.
Yeah, growing up, because both my brother and I were martial arts, we were told we weren't allowed to use said martial arts in fights. So instead, my brother would use his fingernails as claws and once nearly clawed my eye, while I would use my bigger size (4 years older) and just lie on top of my brother, shoving his face into a pillow. Kinda wondering if it would've been more productive if my parents would have just had us put on sparing gear and take our aggression out that way, opposed to just have me (who has very poor impulse control to this day when I'm in my late 20s, gotta love ADHD) go downstairs to kick the punching bag.
Oh, that and my dad deciding to sign me up for additional math work because I was good at it more taught me a hatred of math and extra work, instead of trying to challenge myself. Didn't help school didn't support my advanced mathematics knowledge, so I was stuck pretty much doing pre-alg and alg (I consider these the same thing, except for slightly easier numbers in pre-alg) for about 4 years in a row. It's honestly a miracle I rediscovered a love for it in high school, and I more credit it to my teachers being fun and enjoyable than the material actually being fun.
Where do you get your background clips??? Asking for a freind...
Story 28: did she get one?
Happy almost Christmas
Ngl, not a backfire but story 5 is so amazing
So. I kinda think the first story would make a good movie or show.
