In all these Reddit posts, those church sponsored grief support groups always seem to have a predator watching for a vulnerable mark. That’s my take at least.

That's pretty much all support groups honestly. You'll almost always find someone there waiting to take advantage of the first vulnerable person that falls for their manipulation. Because as the name "support group" implies... It's a room full of already extremely vulnerable people. Easy pickings for a predator.

A second mortgage on a car? And that was enough to get his family through a multi-year financial crash? A crash centered on… home mortgages. And he’s a building contractor. In Seattle. By coincidence, I moved to Seattle in 2009. There were a LOT of new high rise condos that went up downtown. Mostly stayed vacant. Mostly STILL vacant. Building contractors got so fucked there. Amazon built a new multi-building campus downtown, ten years later.those vacant condos finally sold, but not for what the builders hoped. And they don’t do second mortgages on cars. They don’t even call them mortgages. You got a mustang, and need some money? Sell it.

great video, really enjoyed the storytelling! but honestly, i feel like the mom should have considered her child's feelings more. it’s tough being put aside for a stepdad and his kids. i get blending families can be hard, but when it comes to kids, shouldn't the biological parent prioritize their needs first? just my two cents!
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment and for enjoying the video! Your perspective really adds to the conversation, and I appreciate you sharing it.
this video is really well put together and sparks some interesting conversations. i can’t help but feel like the mom should’ve been more mindful of her biological child’s feelings in this situation. it seems unfair that she chose to side with her new family without considering the impact on her own kid. what do you all think?
IDK THEY DONT RESPECT YOUR DAD
I appreciate my Nutrition degree so much when watching your videos 😅 anyone I know who hasn't learned any of this would watch this, listen to the vocabulary and be like "dur durr??" 😵💫
7.15 i really thought those are balls hanging 😂
I miss this guy’s dad
You wana keep loving there? Then perhaps show more respect to the person that was letting you live there rent free, and don't make illegal changes to the house 🤷♂️ not finished yet, but I hope he sues them for damaging the property
I'm from Seattle and never really left the area, I wonder who the dad was and what his business was
the anger by just hearing it is rising by pargarf and i am not even geograficly close
this was an interesting take on the situation, I appreciate the perspective you shared. but honestly, I can’t help but think it’s a bit unfair how the mom sided with her new family so easily. it makes you wonder if she’s really considering her own child's feelings or just looking for a quick way to create harmony in her new home. what do you all think?
this video was really engaging and brought up some interesting points! i get that family dynamics can be complicated, but honestly, i think the mom should've prioritized her child's feelings over her new husband's. it just seems unfair to kick someone out of their own home, no matter the situation. what do you all think?
'Do it for dan' strikes again lol
i really enjoyed this video, you did a great job presenting the story! that being said, i have to admit i find it a bit hard to side with the mom in this situation. i mean, shouldn't she consider her child's feelings first? it just feels like a huge betrayal, especially since it's her kid's home too. what do you guys think?
Did they own the tools? That should've been the final step for them to sell what i assume was OP's property
great video! really enjoyed the story and the way you highlighted the family dynamics. but honestly, i can't help but feel that the stepdad's kids should've been more considerate of their stepsibling's feelings. i mean, it's a tough situation for everyone, right?
Those people who listen to only one version of the story and start lecturing you are the worst. No respect to them AT ALL.
Mom: I changed your diapers!
Stop living in the last, Sharon.
this video was really interesting and it brought up some important issues about family dynamics. however, i can't help but feel that the mom's decision to side with her new partner over her own child might reinforce negative behaviors in the kids. i mean, shouldn't a mother's loyalty first be to her child? it's a tough situation, but it seems like there could have been a better way to handle it.
I really enjoyed this video, the storytelling was engaging and kept me hooked! however, I can't help but wonder if the mom’s decision was truly fair. I mean, it's tough when you have kids from different relationships, but shouldn't a mother's loyalty also extend to her biological child? I'd love to hear what others think about this situation!
this video was really engaging, I appreciate the storytelling! but honestly, I think the mom's choice to side with her new family over her own child is pretty hard to justify. it’s tough to see how she could forget the bond she has with her own kid for the sake of her stepfamily. What do you all think?
Sell it.
How the hell does op let these people sell their dads house or even make any changes to his house. Steve can go build his own house
this video was really well made and had some great storytelling! honestly, though, I feel like the mom should have considered the feelings of her biological kids more. it seems unfair to prioritize the stepdad and his kids over her own child, even if the situation was complicated. what do you all think?
Jesus, bro just go into court the moment they started doing stuff without perms
what an interesting perspective you brought to this story! i really appreciate how you unpacked the emotions involved. however, i can't help but feel that siding with a stepdad over a biological child can often lead to long-lasting family rifts. it's definitely a tricky situation, but sometimes it seems like the step-parent should at least try to find some common ground instead of just prioritizing their own kids. what do you all think?
great video! i really appreciate how you presented the story. but honestly, it feels a bit unfair that the mom chose her new family over her own child. i get wanting to make things work with a new partner, but shouldn't her loyalty be with her kid first? just a thought!
Steve was probably preying on widows looking for one with the best prospects
who tf are all these contractors who do renovations without getting permission from the actual homeowner? story seems sus.
Really, that’s the only thing? Not more than half of the thing being a creative writing exercise about his dad?
The whole thing is bogus, most of these Reddit stories are. It has only gotten worse since AI, scores upon scores of users using ChatGPT to farm Karma so they can sell their account to a Russian Troll Farm…
great video, really enjoyed the storytelling! it's interesting how family dynamics play out, but honestly, i can't help but think the mom should've been more respectful of her kid's feelings. siding with her new partner over her own child feels a bit extreme, don't you think?
really enjoyed this video, it brought up some interesting points! but i have to say, it seems a bit unfair how the mom sided with her new family so easily. like, shouldn't she consider her kids' feelings too? it feels kinda one-sided to me. what do you all think?
this video was really engaging and brought up some interesting points! however, i can’t help but feel that siding with a stepdad over your own child seems pretty unfair. i mean, shouldn't a parent prioritize their kid's feelings first? just a thought!
Stepsister can move in with baby daddy, that is if she knows who it is.
i really enjoyed this video; it had some intriguing points about family dynamics. but honestly, i can't help but think that the original poster should've had a more direct conversation with their mom. siding with a stepdad and his kids seems a bit unfair, especially when there's ownership involved. it raises the question: does loyalty to a new family sometimes overshadow blood relationships? just food for thought!
this video was really engaging and I appreciate the perspectives shared. that said, I can't help but wonder if siding with a stepdad and his kids in such a situation is really fair. it feels like the mom overlooked her child's feelings way too easily, and that could lead to some serious family issues down the line. what do you all think?
this video really brings up some interesting family dynamics, and i appreciate how you presented it! however, i can't help but feel that siding with a stepdad over a biological child can be pretty controversial. it seems like a situation where boundaries should be more clearly defined, especially with the kids involved. just my two cents!
this video was really engaging and had a lot of twists! but i can't help but feel like the mom really dropped the ball here by prioritizing her new family over her own kid. it seems so unfair, especially considering the emotional toll it must have taken. wouldn't it be more balanced to find a way to support everyone rather than taking sides so quickly?
If that happened to me the MOMENT I saw them tearing down the bookshelf i would tell them i was calling the cops the cops and if they called my bluff i would go outside and call them before telling them the cops were on their way and they know they would have to stop otherwise they will get some nice new silver bracelets
Edit: I would also be cussing them out as if my dad was that good of a man then god damn we would have a throw down p.s i would do this if my dad had passed and someone did this
I would have evicted them after the shelves....
what a really engaging video! i loved the storytelling, but honestly, i can't help but feel that the mom should've put her child's needs first rather than siding with her new family. what do you think?
great video, really enjoyed the storytelling and the way you presented the situation. but honestly, i feel like the mom should’ve considered her kid's feelings more before siding with her new family. it's tough navigating those dynamics, and prioritizing the stepdad's kids over her own seems a bit unfair. just my 2 cents!
Make the house
As our dad left it
