hello! your video is very helpfull! anyway, may i question out of topic? what do you think about patternbank? i mean i want to try selling my art but now i really confused to choose between spoon or patternbank, i hope you can gimme insight, ty. ❤
I have not personally tried Patternbank. I believe, however, that it allows a company/individual to purchase the digital pattern and use it at will, including for commercial purposes (and possibly without attribution). There are some concerns that a pattern sold on patternbank would be harder to privately license later, if someone else has already bought rights to the pattern. For most artists, this probably is not a big deal if you are not planning to approach companies about licensing deals. If you do decide to give it a try, I would love to hear your experience
Redbubble is full of plain text designs with a lot of copyright infringement. I used to make some money there, but now nothing. On teepublic I always make at least one sale a month.
That's how I have been feeling about Redbubble lately - not as good for actual art. I've been thinking of checking out Teepublic, even though most of my pattern designs are not as good for a T-shirt designs. I have heard, however, that it is a bit better for sales
Are you on Spoonflower? Redbubble? Society6? 🎨🎨Do you feel like one of them is more passive than the others?
You have very interesting channel! I'm looking up for more videos 👍
