Among the hit songs of Korean idols, Swedish music producers participated in composing. My most favorite Swedish music producers are Andreas Oberg and Cazzi Opeia. Cazzi Opeia is one of composers of Red Velvet's Psycho, Power Up, TWICE's Dance the night away, ITZY's ICY. Andreas Oberg is one of composers of Red Velvet's Umpah Umpah, Monsta X's Follow. I wish Swedish music producers can visit Seoul, Korea and collaborate with Korean Idol members and Korean producers after COVID-19's pandemic ends.

There is a big difference there. If we want to win we have to send something that the entire europe can like that has real emotion in it. John Lundvik just didn't have it here. Bulletproof by Dotter was one of the most hyped songs by the community this year but instead of letting her win people voted for The mamas but it doesn't matter now when eurovision is cancelled. Dotter can come back next year even stronger.

I think that the Swedish people like mainstream and pop songs and that’s why we always sends it, but I’m nearly 100% sure that Italy or Russia would get a LOT of more votes than Sweden if they had sent the same song. I think Russia and Italy is super overrated in Eurovision by the televoters.

To all those saying this sounds like American music. Music can find influences anywhere. It's music after all. But Swedes do write many, many of the famous American and U.K. (and more) pop songs even if the performers aren't Swedish. So, you've certainly heard music from famous artists which you had no idea had Swedish songwriters. Swedes have written songs for i.e. Taylor Swift, Madonna, Britney Spears, Bon Jovi, Celine Dion, Pink, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake, Maroon 5 etc. etc. there are just too many to mention. Music is a major export for Sweden, and a lot of artists fly over here to record in our studios. Well, this is in addition to the huge amount of famous bands and singers from here. Per capita we are #1 in the world in music exports. This might also explain our fascination with the ESC. I'm not trying to brag, but we are quite proud of our music industry.
And that’s the reason why Sweden are really successful in Eurovision too! As a Swede, I love that we take Eurovision really serious! It’s really fun watching Eurovision with friends and hope that your country wins! :)
People are hating on sweden for being a favourite among juries. But when Macedonia almost won the juryvote but got around 40pt from televote, it’s not a problem.
