- Who do you think is the strongest enemy we’ve ever faced? There’s some heavy front runner for sure. Hive Gods in Oryx and Savathun, other options like Nezarec or even Taniks? In recent lore, Bungie themselves have confirmed who the strongest enemy we’ve faced is.. so far.

@@Asgaardiangatekeepernot really. It was rhulk toying with us until final stand when he realised we could actually kill him. The only real fight was those few seconds when panic likely filled his mind. Definitely still one of the best raid bosses ever made tho

Being the first and oldest disciple of the witness, it makes sense why Rhulk is the strongest we've faced so far, he has had more experience than most of our enemies we've faced in combat, power and experience.

The thing I always keep in mind, especially when we pur guardians defeated Disciples like Rhulk or Nezarec, is that we were not fighting them at their absolute strongest...nor just their powers versuses our Guardians.
Rhulk didn’t just lose because of his arrogance, but because he had already been weakened by Savathûn (and he was still insanely strong). Not only that, it seeming took using the Upended against him just to damage him with our own weapons and arsenal.
Nezarec, despite having a new set of powers had just reborn and still at a fraction of his original power prior to his death.
My point is, our Guardians even 6 of them couldn't simply defeat the likes of Rhulk, Nezarec, or others on their own power alone. They have to subvert or turn the power of these adversaries against them in tandem with their own power to do so.
Which itself is perhaps an even greater achievement, display of power, and humiliation of these godlike foes.
It's also probably going to be the only way to actually defeat The Witness. If Lightfall's intro goes to show, it could vivisect a team of guardians with a few gestures.
So ain't no way to fight it directly without The Witness getting a godly debuff or the player Guardians getting a godly buff.

Also nezerac was at full power at the end of the raid. And our guardian beat callus by himself who scales above rhulk. Our single guardian at that point outscales the fireteam who beat rhulk

@@reggielacey2235 If what you said were true, then why did BUNGIE outright confirm Rhulk still is the most powerful foe Guardian forces faced up to this point. Not the point at which he was fought, but even til' now.
They didn't say Calus nor Nezarec, they said it was Rhulk. Additionally, Nezarec did not return to his original power, he even says he only had a "modicum" of his original power. Calus demonstrated he was the weakest of The Disciples who much more expedient, expendable, and unreliable than those before him.
Where you getting your information or evidence to the contrary from? What is your reasoning?
Because if I am following your line of reasoning, it would that Eramis was stronger than Oryx at the time of his defeat.

Reread the messages you sent to me clearly, nowhere do you provide any evidence or rubric for the power scaling. Your response to me was effectively "Nuh-Uh" and not "You're incorrect, here is the evidence and reasoning why."
Like are you going off in-game Power Level? Because it's lore and narrative impact is extremely minimal when it represents actual gameplay. Seriously, if you use that as the benchmark for powerscaling, then sudden a random redbar Thrall from a later season or expansion is leagues stronger than the likes of Riven.

Honestly I feel like rhulk vs oryx would be a close fight. We never faced oryx before stripping him of his tribute chain. By time we fight him, his worm is devouring him and he is weak
The only being besides Rhulk being the most powerful & obviously The Witness being a cut above everything I think putting Nezarec (Light & Dark infused) is a good 2nd place.
You have to appreciate just how ancient Rhulk is. Now all I need to know is who the Unknown Disciple is and what happened to him/her. Of all the Disciples The Unknown was the smartest most insightful. Sounds like a very interesting Character.

@@lucaricci1987 that’s why we need to take Rhulk and Nezarack’s remains, find the core crytal from Oryx’s sword that we used to create the elemental swords back in D1 and make a sword/glaive hybrid exotic!
@@GM-lx7ji since the enigma is “the key to defeating the witness”, we combine this hybrid exotic with the enigma and we have the “Witness-Slayer”
Well, I guess they finally made it clear that he's stronger than Nezarec then, before that was never definatively stated, in fact Nezarec actually had more feats to his name that could actually be quantified. Obviously the Leviathen was powerful, but the worm gods have grown exponentually in power since Fundament so there's a good chance any one of them in present day would be able to defeat the leviathen.
The only hint we had that Rhulk was stronger before was that Savathûn needed to use her wellspring to cripple Rhulk, whereas she could do it herself to Nezarec, although that wasn't definative since she wasn't just crippling Rhulk, but him, the upended, and his pyramid ship all at once.
Honestly Savathûn might be the Batman of destiny, she can defeat anyone with prep time.

Hey Evaze, can you do a Full Story video for the Cabal Empire like you did with the Fallen?
I still think that Nazarec was stronger, we just were lucky to fight him right after his ressurection. Even before his death his feats in lore are greater, and being fused with both Dark and Light definetly gave him even more power, but since he had zero time to adapt to it, he couldn't show it all and was defeated.
Rhulk is definetly much cooler tho. And, yeah, both would've cooked and stuffed our asses like it's a thanksgiving turkey if they weren't weakened.
Honorable mention to nezzy though. Considering his heartbeat is enough to wipe your entire team. Also the fact he can’t really die as far as we know. His body is gone but his influence spreads anyway

Could someone clear something up for me I am a bit lost on the order that things happened. I understand that Asaha is a proto worm the species that fought amongst themselves after being visited by the witness with some becoming the worm gods.
So when Rhulk went to fundament and fought the leviathan the worm gods were already there? So Rhulk going there to create the hive must have been after the witness had been there?

The strongest is right now is rhulk but we know that the witnesses will be the final boss of the tfs raid although the architects are above even the traveler since they are a force beyond are comprehension

Cabal Phalanx is the only non boss unit in the game that has two chances of insta kill you: first when they're deployed in their Cabal 🏀 pod, and the second using their shield attack, if they catch you unaware.

I think Nezerac would have been the strongest or close second when he was in his original form. After all Nezerac didn’t have his original form when we fought him didn’t have even close to the same power as he had during the collapse. Savathun killed him during the collapse only because she caught him completely off guard.
He trusted her and she took that chance to backstab him stealing any power he had. People who say he is weak because he wasn’t strong in the raid are just brainless

While rhulk being the strongest was true during when this video came out, it may no longer be the case. For 1 the phanteon statment of him being the strongest shouldnt include nezarec as nezarec wasnt part of the phanteon yet and 2nd. Now that nezarec is part of the phanteon and is the final boss he should be strongest as its very obvious the higher you go up in the phanteon the more powerful the being you fight is

Consider that Savathun could never kill Rhulk even with the sword logic and light on her side. And Nezarec was backstabbed by her when she took the Veil. Not to mention when Nezarec gets beamed he is getting rejected by both the Dark and Light. Rhulk was only rejected by the light in the vow exotic ghost lore
Yes but consider that Nezarec can communicate beyond his death implying immortality. Only one of these characters is referred to as a god.
@@julianhudson2113 Savathûn is also referred to as a god, and she’s literally a guardian, which means she has a better form of immortality, and the vow exotic sparrow shows that Rhulk can posses people after we killed him, so Nezarec is doing that when we hear him talking.

I feel we've yet to grasp his influence he's had over the entire series. The big focal point I feel has been the the hive. In D1 it started with the Hive, it ended with the Hive. Destiny 2 we started with the Cabal and will end with the witness. The cabal, a faction of the ones formerly under Gary's (Ghaul) control and eventually Kyle (Calus) the original route they would have headed. The faction that was lead in the black garden of the Vex to now (actually, I'm like 40 percent on the vex and theorize they're the next big bad enemy like the witness has been nearly a decade). But even so, Bulk, the disciple of gains, disciple of nonskipped leg day and his influence and deeds have massively impacted nearly 70 percent of the story. With the other 30 percent purely being the actions of the traveler and forsaken civilizations. I feel like in all you could be saving more on your car insurance by switching to geico...

Nezarec does not scale above Rhulk when the literal narrators say otherwise.
Nezarec post revival only had one big difference, and that was he had acquired some type of affinity with the light which we used to help resurrect him. Nezarec was also able to be killed off by whatever trick Savathun pulled off, where as with Rhulk she didn't even necessarily know how to go about dealing with especially when he had a super weapon capable of destroying her whole throne world.
Rhulk is the most powerful.
Crazy that Rhulk only has a mere *fraction* of The Witness’s power. Can’t wait to actually fight The Witness in The Final Shape’s Raid.
Rhulk was overconfident and cocky he was talking trash to tbe guardian during the entire fight. He only gets serious during the final stand but he is out of time by then
