Really awful event. I would have happily grinded a Battle Pass to get the Ducati at the end, but having you basically have to gamble for it is disgusting.

@@TheHol8 everybody needs it, not everybody needs to fleece people for it. Make cool skins and events and people will buy them. Try to ripoff your playerbase with gambling, only a fraction of the amount will pay

I've disgracefully shamefully and regrettablely spent 100 dollars us on a skin and backpack for some heroic ice character and literally only got helmet and sword nothing else for 100 dollars I couldn't stop at 50 dollars because I couldn't believe it wasn't going to give me everything I hate my self for it to this day

Class Action Lawsuits are a good way for consumers/ public to combat predatory gambling techniques. Remember, they're not a casino. There's a fine line between what they're doing and true form gambling.
For this amount of money I could have rent a real Ducati a day and have more fun with it than ingame

For the amount of money you have to spend to maybe get the bike leaves almost zero desire for me to try, and I'm the target demographic for this event.
I have to spend around $200 of actual money to get the bike and it probably won't be the color I want. Or I can just go outside, hop on my actual Ducati and rip around town.
On top of that, the in game bike doesn't even sound like the actual bike.
The money I'd have to spend in game to maybe get the bike could go toward parts for my IRL bike. I just don't see the value here unless there's a guarantee that you get what you're wanting for that much money.
Absolutely safe to say I will pass on this one and most of PUBG's rip-off scams

Yeah, I won't be spending any money on "Ducati tokens". Doubt I'll be able to earn enough tokens by in game rewards to get the plain red one (1500 tokens).
Oh and for $70 you should be guaranteed a Ducati skin, saw another streamer this morning do similar to you and came away with the Dacia skin, no Ducati skins at all.

I find the ways of making decisions very interesting. So first of all the skins are very nice but for a vehicle that is not really safe. So people who sweat while playing won't use the skin often unless they have to. But then to also say that you only get the straight when you're gambling is wild.

Man you got lucky, I had to buy the steep up and 55 crates to get the black one “least rare one” but I do have 1800 coins, still not enough to get one of the rarer ones… so I’m not sure what I’m going to do. Seems dumb to buy more just to get a duplicate though.

I never understand why they’re so greedy like this. Like if the skin is more accessible then surely more people would buy it? But they have the internal metrics so who knows.

If someone already spent Money to get a Skin and than don't gets a Skin he will probably throw more Money to at least get his Money ''Worth''.

@@Maikel710 that’s definitely a factor for sure! I think Fortnite made a lot of games rethink. They’ve also made bank with a free to play games with (mostly) fair priced skins too. I hate PUBG’s progressive weapon system. It’s a cool idea in theory, but the amount you have to spend to upgrade them is unreal haha

I would assume Krafton is wiser than me when it comes to making money on video games but I feel more people would pay $9.99 for a pass and then spend hours grinding to the end result of Ducati bikes and gear.
The fact that they won't hop off this mobile game like gambling crafting nonsense is disheartening. Somewhere between this and COD's $100 camos and $80 weapon blueprints must lie the acceptable sweet spot most gamers would find palatable for a free to play game.
Whales are who keep these kind of game's pockets lined. There's a reason why they keep doing it... it works.
This is a huge disspointment for anyone playing pubg.
1) the season pass looks like it's for 3 year old kids ????
2) you have to actually use real cash to buy a bike ????
3) to buy anything the store forces you to buy more gold becouse the items always 200 to 500 more than the pack of gold from the store.
4) veterans who paid and grindee all these skins in previous season thinking they would be rare items pubg just hands out all these skins that we already own or paid for years ago.
5) this one is the kicker. Even if you buy a ducati you still forces to use your hard earned credits to craft the damn thing.
The progressive skin box is for 3 year old kids wtf oh and the Christmas crap that no one liked in the first place is still there 6 months later.

Pubg is a rip-off. Every single aspect of getting a progressive weapon skin and getting schematics to level up the skin is beyond absurd. You can spend $500 and not get the progressive skin you want.
