How funny Sarah. I knew where you were on your Nativity piece and you didn’t. That’s how glued I am to your flosstubes. Love to watch your progress. 🌺🌷❤️❤️
I love it when I pull out a piece like Nativity and it’s further along than expected! You were so cute with your excitement! Can’t wait to see how you get on with the hardanger. Does school starting soon mean you now have a senior in high school?? 😮😮😮 Sorry to have brought it up! 😂 That Carolyn Manning piece is MUST - I will need to purchase it asap - so gorgeous! And I love the sampler quilt too. Hope your kids (and you!) have a great school year! ❤❤
@@zook717 Yes! I have a senior now!! He got his schedule today - including 3 AP classes. 🤓 Of course, my freshman is taking 2 AP classes, so I guess we grow them smart around here. 😆 Oh fun that you like The Meadow also! I got it as a PDF on her website and it works in PK. 👍🏻
I like the way you point out the details in your stitching and talk about how much joy you have had stitching each one. It reminds us all that the whole point of doing this awesome craft is to stitch images that you love and not put pressure on yourself to track every little thing and feel like you’re in a race. That’s just my opinion though!
Thank you! This is very true and wise advice! I'm glad my videos make you feel joy and not pressure. It's definitely a temptation when making videos to put pressure on to get progress, but at the end of the day - it's a hobby and it's for fun!
I love Colours of the Seasons from the first time you showed it, a few years ago. It is on my wish list, I never exactly understood what you consider you have done wrong on it, it seems to me everything fits perfectly on your fabric. Happy stitching!
I messed up on my spacing between the bottom two seasons, as compared to how I had originally wanted it to be. As I've looked at it further, I think it may be salvageable as an "all on one piece of fabric" finish, just spaced a bit differently than I had originally planned. I'll need to frog and restitch one of the white hearts in the Winter section, then just make sure the words are spaced nicely on the top two. :)
Hi Sarah. Thank you for the catch up. Endor, the SAL and the Simpsons are favourites. It's fun to see them progressing. Have fun with your hardanger! That piece is just beautiful. ⚘️
Lovely video. You are so close with Nativity sampler. Good luck with the Hardanger. I struggle with it do a test piece on scrap linen before I try again. Happy Stitching ❤❤
Isn't the summer olympics stitching so fun?!? I am really enjoying it! For me it has forced me to sit and watch TV - so more stitching time than usual!
I really enjoyed stitching along with the Olympics! I tend to prefer watching only the parts of the Olympics that I really like, so I'll constantly man the remote to fast forward commercials and excessive waiting times between contestants, etc., paying attention to the main bits. It doesn't allow me to stitch WHILE watching the Olympics, but it's always a fun atmosphere when it's going on. :)
I enjoyed seeing everything that you have been working on. I really love the nativity sampler, birds; and the cats and hearts, they are all so beautiful and very close to be finished. I've never done specialty stitches. You make it look easy. Have a great week, see you soon.
Your rose border on the Lavender and Lace piece is so pretty. I like the colors of the August kitty design. Like strawberry lemonade. Your Nativity is gorgeous but the Hardanger is scary. Durene Jones has several lovely stitches with hardanger but nope, nope, nope. 😊
Hi Sarah love the Nativity piece. It is beautiful and the your Wip's especially your family pieces are really looking great. I sent you a picture of what I stitched in July in your email. Hope you like them. Miss Smokey hope to see her next time. In the meantime Happy Stitching and be safe and kind. God bless Pat

Oh Sarah….you live in a country earning lots of top medals…I would not end up with as many minutes. I do hope to do some hardanger this month also and am going to have to figure things out. 🦉🧵🪡
For sure! The second week of the Olympics, we earned quite a few medals and finished tied for the most of any country. I think if I lived in a different country, I might have been able to get away with using the original 5/10/15 minute structure for stitching the medals, but I'm very happy with my downgrade to 3/5/10 minutes - much more manageable! :)

Yes, stuffed baby bear and dragons are animals. 😊. I enjoyed listening and watching while I did some cross stitch. Thank you.

That's a good point that August's kitty design looks like strawberry lemonade! That's my favorite beverage, so I love that comparison. :)
