EP4: The front wheelhub | CLASSIC MINI 25 RESTORATION

This episode is about restoring the Mini front wheelhub.
First a good clean is needed in the parts washer.
After that, the hub gets stripped and painted.
New bearings, seals and the two ball joints get installed.

Didn't show how to adjust the clearance on the ball joints. Plus, surely lapping the ball pin and cap is just as important as lapping the ball pin and the thrust button?

Hi @pippynicky! I indeed didn't show how to adjust the clearance on the ball joints with the shims, but it's not a how to video, it's more just for entertainment :) I've lapped both the cap and the thrust button with the ball pin, but the lapping is optional.
