How to change fork oil and seals 2006 zx10r

how to rebuild your Gen1, Gen2 zx10r forks...
-update.. don't flip the seal like I did, it'll leak lol. I'm flipping it to the flat side now. 9-10-22

Update- put flat side of seal down.. if you gamble like I did you'll regret it. It'll leak 🤣...

Oil seals are always going in with the coil of the seal facing the chamber where the oil is. And you are right, mostly you can't see if a seal is worn. But if a seal leaks, than it is worn. So, time to replace.
