Great presentation Gabe, thank you for all the effort you put into them. I have been stung before with getting rid of items. So we put them in the charity box in the wardrobe and leave it there for a while, then once a week or so I wander past the shop and drop it in. I did that with a pair of jeans once and missed them so much I knew where they were and bought them back, (i was lucky) so at least I gave to charity. I also had 50 different cotton reel colours, so instead of getting rid of all, I kep one in every main colour, down to 20, I did the same with artist colour pencils and tee shirts and tee towels and towels, anything which I have several of in different colours, then the spares go in the charity box, at 62 I love clearing the house out, less to clean, less to fall over, but what I have left I really like. Very good wisdom here. It took me until 57 years on this planet and having made those mistakes many of times in order to start thinking of things like he mentioned in this video. What I learned is not to bring "UNDUE" maintenance into your life which is un-necessary . For example, used electronic items, Recreational vehicles of any kind (this is a big one), An old house that's in need of repair. Best is to rent the Recreational Vehicles than to own them. Same with renting a home in some cases. Think it through before committing to such things. Nevertheless, the temptation/lust to possess can be great at times.

Hey Gabe ....this video came at the perfect time since holiday season is upon us and this is usually the time when we forget how much ( be it time or money) to spend. So thank you for reminding it. For me personally, applying this 90% is going to be very helpful. Thanks again!

I don't focus on the material side of Christmas. I ask what my kids want..keep it simple
I like the decorations and Holiday music with food more.

i have ordered cloths online that i think look cool then when i actually get it i dont want to wear it because its to flashy and draws to much attention so i dont wear it at all so then it just takes space I just donated all those clothes and dont buy anything fancy anymore im happy with just an easy plain shirt

Thanks for your effort, i need to try this out. Ive be3n having trouble to decide what falls into my 90% and above. Ive lost half my weight and dont have any clothing left so im very confused what are basic clothing that i need and will wear, what is my style (never had one), how to go about that etc.

What I do is prioritze. I make a block schedule like this:
      M. T. W. T F.
Than I fill in my priorities from morning to night I work. If I have my rocks in than when I need a break or something comes up, I'm free to take it on bc my 90% is already in place.
As far as clothes...i just prioritize the ones I like but keep the others for cleaning or staying home.
