    Fascinating that it took people hundreds of years to come up with equal temperament because they simply couldn't conceive of something like a 12th root or an irrational number. Today we take those concepts for granted and teach them to everybody in school. Goes to show that we stand on the shoulders of giants.

    Another example in popular culture, really recent, was in the Wandavision Marvel series, in all their theme songs they have a Tritone followed by a fith, which is the Devil's Interval and the theme of the Series have a lot to do with witches and this sort of devilish things.
    The Simpson's Theme is a great example of the use of semi-tone, also because it falls in the fifth. So it fits with the theme of a parody of an American Lifestyle. The Choir is in C major chord, pretty beautiful, followed by a tritone [ :( ] followed by a fifth :D!
    So, basically like someone is stepping over and tripping to the fifth. It is pretty cool.

    Had to reduce video speed to 0.75 to make her rattling a bit more bearable ( & then i fell asleep :)
